My Hornet is leaking and not like all the rest, instead of a cylinder or two leaking it leaks out of ALL the cylinders when ever you try to pump it up. If you give it 2 or 3 very quick pumps its fine, and it holds air perfectly, I have sprayed every joint and hose with soapy water and its all air tight.
I dremeled out the ARs with dentist-like precision and added 4'' brass barrels. I didnt mess with the white protective caps because it was giveing me all the range I wanted for a CQB secondary. I searched but all I found was the typical dead cylinder issue, any ideas?

The only thing I can think of that would affect ALL of the barrels is a leak in the dump valve, or perhaps you just have incredibly bad luck. If it holds air after 2 or 3 pumps, I don't really see the problem anyways. If you cant stand the extra few pumps though, I suggest you just get a new one and hope it isn't broken, since I can't imagine it being possible to fix the dump valve, at least very easily.

I got a leak in my 2K just a few days ago. I tried the soap and water technique, and was unable to find the leak. I wound up sticking the whole thing under water and pumping it to see where the bubbles came out. That worked great, and I would suggest you try it, however the hornet is far more complicated than a 2K and it might be harder to find where the bubbles come out of.

ps: make sure the pump is above water so the gun is taking in air, not water.

If you're wondering, I just epoxied the leak up and the gun works fine now.

If at first you don't succeed, add more epoxy.

The problem is that during the first few pumps it pushes most of the darts out, not a big deal but very freakin anoying.

Ah, yes. I had this problem ever time i took out the ARs in a Hornet. Its probably due to little bits of plastic holding the valve open. When the pressure inside increases (more pumps), the soft rubber tip just molds around it, and makes a seal.

What you do is make sure its completely dry (no oil or water/soap or anything like that) And pump it up A LOT like 40 times if you have the pump plugged. Then hit the shotgun button. Do that about three times and it should clear out the barrels. And don't worry about 40 pumps destroying it, I've pumped it up in excess of 50 times before, and they both still work fine.

Maeric's right on. It's a good idea, whenever doing barrel replacement on a Hornet to do this after each barrel so that it's easier to pressurize. Do the drilling for one barrel then blast all the bits out. Repeat this six times.

Also, I haven't tried this, but it may help to pressurize the tanks before doing the drilling. This may prevent the plastic from even getting in there in the first place. Just an idea though.
