If you can't find brass in your area here is a site you can try:
http://www.ksmetals.com/
There is also a lot of people on the haven, that are willing to get some brass off their hands.
Hope this helps.

Do me a favor, take a deep breath, and get some of that sand out of your vagina.

Thanks for the offers but I think i'm just going to go to the home depot
There is no brass at the home depot. not the type you're looking for. Try Ace hardware.

As Blacksunshine said, there isn't brass in Lowes or Homey Depot so try Ace.
I get my brass for 2.50 a foot.

Our hobby shop is the only place, and it's 3.19 for 17/32nd and 3.29 for 9/16th, per foot. But we do get steel for cheap. Cleveland is a big steel place.Really?Between three and four dollars a foot for brass.

Things generally are cheaper in OH. Cost of living vs income and such. Out here I'm paying 4 bucks a foot at my local Ace.

Hey guys, you are all talking about BRASS not COPPER. He is asking about copper. Haha.I am about to attempt an angel breech on my longshot. And i was wondering if instead of using brass for it using copper piping. I have alot of copper piping around so it would save me a few bucks.

By the time it got to my post, it was already pretty certain that he wouldn't, couldn't and shouldn't use copper for a breach as the barrel. If it fit 17/32nds or 9/16ths perfectly, he could use what he already has for a cover, secondary barrel or for whatever in the breech.Hey guys, you are all talking about BRASS not COPPER.
