Hey if I were to put bungee cords on my nitefinder how long should they be? They would so around the plunger and hook in the front. My nitefinder would be minimized also, so the "barrel" that it comes with wouldn't be there.

10 Or 11 CM (i use metric). About 3 mm wide. Also you spelt cord wrong, it's chord.

-NB

In this context cord is spelled correctly. Chord is referring to musical notes. Cord is referring to a string like item.

Can anyone else vouch for this? What local stores, if there are any, can I get this at? Or do I have to order off of a random website.

I would have a cpvc coupler on it, but when the barrel is attached it would be about 5 inches.

*über-facepalm*

Bamblack, you were right. It's spelled CORD. A "chord" is a grouping of several musical notes together to make a harmonious noise.

Edit: Beaten to it by Kalex and bamblack.

Okay sir, let me give you the real people answer to this question. Just buy mini bungies. They sell them at target for camping. You don't need to be exact.

Alright I just want to make sure I have the right thing.

Would this work? It looks too big in my eyes but I'm not sure.

This looks better

I actually have all 4 of those exact same bungees. The 2nd one, or the gray one, works best.

And you are right the first set is too big. They are a bitch to get back so not practical at all.

I lubed it again and again, I don't see what an extra 2 centimeters does. I don't think I will cut it off.

Yeah, the second one works better. But 8 bucks for shipping? Just go to an REI near you or an outdoor store, I'm sure they'll have it there.
