Wait, your not coming because you don't have a decent gun? Thats a terrible excuse! You can borrow whatever you want from me, and I'm sure other people will have extras as well. I would appreciate it if you brought your own darts, or paid me for them, if you need darts too.

Also, does anybody have a NF shell prefferably with little to no mods done to it? I would like to buy one.

At least double check you can still come. A war in Washington died out this weekend -- about three people showed up for about three minutes. Let's not follow their example. At this point I expect everyone on the list to show up.

I recommend to everyone that you make a small amount of darts everyday this week. Just a small number like 40-50 each night is good, and then you won't have to make as many the night before. I got so fucking tired of staying up until like midnight the night before wars so I've started doing this instead.

Everyone double check with your guests on their attendance. Everyone who was going to buy stuff from Secret Assassin will not be receiving said items, because he's not coming. I might have this other kid I just got into nerf today come with though. I thought for sure he would give me shit about nerf if I told him, but it turned out he has a TTG and thinks modding and wars sound cool so he might be coming with.

The long-range forecast looks promising for next Saturday: high of 17 or so, partly sunny.

Still gotta finishing tuning the SNAPs, but I'm stocked up for next weekend. Made about 200 darts tonight, and finally refilled the bucket after losing about 150 darts at last SPANO. That, and I got another pack of balls. Because that's what this war needs. More balls.

That reminds me, I've got to bring my NGG with ball shooting attacthment. It's literally the craziest gun I've ever seen. It easily outranges a titan/big blast and has devastating velocity. Only one person has been shot by it singled, and it left a mark for about 3-4 weeks.

It turns out that I will most likely receive my +bow springs in time for this war. I'm not sure if I'll have my SNAP done by then, but I know some if you are dying to feel/compress them so I'll bring along one or two for those who are interested.

My parents are being a bit dickey about the cold, so if its less than 5 or so degrees and/or very windy I probably can't come unless we think of some solutions. The thing that could save my attendance would be having enough cars there so that we could go in and warm up every once in a while. If the conditions really are that bad, I can't see myself or anyone else being able to withstand the cold for more than a straight hour or 2. Plus we need a car to take us to Burger King.

So who is going to have their car there at the park all day?

My car will be there, so I can ferry people to BK if the going gets tough. Conditions are looking pretty good for Saturday: high of 19F. My blasters are in good shape, so I'm ready to roll. My +bow needs a little work done on, so it may not see much use. Oh well.

Pretty safe to say I'll have my car there, as well.

It looks pretty safe that the current cold snap will break by Friday. Which is good, because 5 degrees just doesn't sound like much fun, nevermind being outside for 5+ hours.

Is the Highland Park site definite? Good stuff to know.

I'd say Highland is definite. I don't think Hilt would change that at the last second. I recommend that everyone go on here the morning before, to determine if we're still having it or not. I'd like to know at about 9 or so, because I'll have to tell my guest what the deal is. Also, I don't want to waste an hour going back and forth from the park and my house if nobody shows. Perhaps we should have a set temperature and windchill that if it is colder than, we will cancel the war. I think my parents are fine with me going even if it is quite cold, I just have to be sure that a decent number of other people show up too.

Bah, my +bow's plunger rod broke. Does anyone coming to the war have any 1/2" nylon rods that they would be willing to part with so that I can do a quick and dirty repair job? Spare polycarb and 6-32 screws would pique my interest me as well.

Does your car have a decent amount of space for guns and stuff? I wouldn't want to leave my guns there at the park with nobody there. I shouldn't be bringing as many as usual, so they won't take up that much space. I think it is safe to say now that the war will happen. The estimated high and low only continues to rise. I would also be very disappointed if Carbon couldn't show because we had to change the date. Also, it would be difficult to have to change the information with my guest who is almost 100% definatley coming. Remember to bring the NF shell and newspapers too.

I visited the site yesterday, and it looks perfect. The snow isn't too slushy or too hard, the pagoda is clean, the parking lot was empty... this is going to be great.
