Alright, so as you know people have been making double weapons like so,
Posted Image

I though
well this is a dandy little gadget that I'm going to get nailed with while I'm using. It takes a little time to reload
so Heres the solution

Posted Image

heres the front

Posted Image

One thing I encountered while I was cutting the Strike fire was that I had cut the spring out from the trigger.
I was able to hot glue the spring back in, but I needed to be careful since the trigger was exposed.
My solution was an old maverick part, which fit like a glove.

Posted Image

And when you hold it

Posted Image

My strategy is to use the top gun, and when I have to reload, use the bottom gun.

The strike fire hits about 40 feet, and the maverick hits about 40 as well.

both guns have been modded internally

The Maverick's ARs have been removed
The strike fire's ARs as well. I don't know what I did when I was inside of it, but it shoots amazing.

I still plan on cleaning up and painting, but right now I'm EXTREMELY low on paint, and I have to still buy paint for the
spiker I made

EDIT:
Sorry, typo on ranges, Using a rally small keyboard to type.

It looks pretty dam messy, but I guess it's functional. Although, I do think it will be hard to aim with the crossfire if you have that on the bottom. Just a hint, I wouldn't turn it into a alligator... ;)

Err... good mod I guess. I suggest you re-measure your ranges though, there's no way either of them are possible even with a crapload of internal mods unless you did a plunger replacement on each of those blasters.

Nice job. Is it comfortable? It seems like you would mostly be using the mav cause it's a lot easier to reach. I would have just put the crossfire on top using the clip, but its all your personal preference.

You definitely need to re-measure those ranges for the Strikefire. Thats ridiculous.

70-80' with a strikefire? BULLSHIT

65' with a Mav? BULLSHIT UNLESS YOU TELL US HOW YOU DID IT

I got over 100 feet with my last Maverick.

I did have to pick up the pieces when it hit the ground, though.

(Yeah, I know, old range joke). ;)

Strange looking mod, but hey, it works for you, right? That's the main thing.

Its fine, I was kinda holding it funny when I took the Picture. Your pinky and ring finger get the strike fire good.

Yea, but I have more than one trike fire. and now the maverick can clip

So you're telling me that your Crossfire almost matches my Angel Breech longshot outside? With a 1.5" single copper BB, my LS gets about 80 ft. That's real. However, my Crossfire with stronger spring and PETG barrel gets about 35-40 ft. THat's not right. My maverick get good ranges but not close to yours...

On topic: It's a nice idea and however messy it is, it's also effective. Nice job

Ubermensch:

I agree on the strikefire totally bs.

However, my maverick is able to get 57' but only just (with stfans and an added factory spring) so yes it "could" be possible but only just.

And I'm sorry but it looks like crap it might be finctional but with the unorganized cuts and all that glue leave much to be desired.(sorry i'm so negative)

But if this is your first couple of mods CONGRATS!!!

Ok, so like I said, just gonna clean it up a little, and yes IT WILL LOOK BETTER!
And its a great mod. Not my first couple of mods either, just I needed some sort of base for them to stay together. I'm probably going to put stuff over it, like plywood.

If you take one low range gun, and hot glue it to another low range gun, you've got a............. whell, two low range guns glued together.

I don't really see the point of this. It seems like even more of a pain to reload, and you would have to be standing pretty damn close to someone to actually hit them with this. It may have some use indoors, but that's about it.

It seems like another "just because I can" mods.

Im going to have to agree with wes. I don't really get glueing a mav and crossfire together, when you have the tactical rail. However, its all about if it works for you. If it does then good. If you find it doesn't, then try again.
Its just one of those projects, not for a war, but its just something to do.

I have to agree also. People did this with nitefinders because they had pretty good ranges. Mavericks and crossfires don't. Unless you want a weird CQC weapon, but then again I would rather just have the maverick by itself for the versitility.

My cross fire and maverick do hit good range. Plus, its not about hitting some target at some yards away, its about having another gun at hand. Its not like I'm going to run in a war and think I'm gonna own your asses with it. You guys act like this is my my primary, its just a hand gun.

the way this works is it is the cross fire doesn't get in the way like it would on the rail.

I admit, the gun they have looks sexy. Mine won't look bad, but I needed a handgun.

Im sorry but come on, i see where your going with it but still. Its just two bad guns put together, And on top of that it looks like someone took a crap on it just after eating a shitload of chinese food. Please at least clean it up. Its not versatile at all and by the time you get close to hitting someone, they would have already taken you out with there gun. Im not trying to be a asshole, which i know i am, but i just dont think it is anything close to practical.
