The break isn't clean, the plastic got stressed then broke. I searched, and only found Bobs, repair which is in a different place, and blackfox's plastic repair, which won't work too well because there isn't enough plastic to staple. Any ideas are appreciated.

Grab some sheet metal, goop, and a dremel, and have a party. I had the exact same thing happen to mine in the exact same place. Cut a piece that fits over the gap on BOTH sides and is flush with the sides of the trigger. Just make sure you do it cleanly or else the trigger will no longer fit into the gun properly.

I will get some pictures tomorrow when I open my gun up.

The same thing had happened to me, I just super-glued the two pieces together and it was very strong and hung up well.

you could place 2 metal strips on the side of the trigger and screw it together.

I used a couple pieces of K'nex and some super glue. Works well.

I had a break like that once and failed at fixing it. I paid Captainslug to make me a new trigger (this was about two years ago) since I saw he machined one for his broken Big Blast. Worked like a charm, so if you really can't fix it mabye you should get in contact with him. The worst he could say is 'no'.

Maybe this will do it. Mine snapped in two at about the same spot.

I used superglue to tack the pieces back together then lightly sanded both the area to be reinforced and the strip of metal. Then apply superglue, lots of it, clamp it down and let cure overnight. I also extended the metal to the first rib/ridge on the part your finger rests on and added a bit of superglue to the edges of the metal afterwards. It's held up fine even at 20 pumps. And don't forget to round the edges of the metal by the finger area.

Edit: The strip of metal is actually from a steel cookie tin, a great source of sheet metal.

Generally, a picture of just the broken part and nothing else, will help.

What's with the popsicle sticks?
What else is going on in that picture?

If you're using this outside of the normal shell, there would seem to be little reason to even stick to the original trigger, so you could just bend up some metal with a couple of pairs of needle-nose pliers. One of my favorite sources of raw metal is the bars from hanging file folders, but in this case even a heavy paperclip might do.

My best luck with lbb trigger is to drill a 2mm hole from the top, all the way through the trigger to the bottom and stuff a 2mm cf rod through the hole and krazyglue it in place. I do this mod to bigblasts I give to my friends who are too stupid to know when to stop pumping..

I can get pics if anyone is interested.
