Holy fucking shit youtube ruins my camera's quality. I assure you, my voice doesn't sound like I have a massive cold, youtube, always destroys my videos qualities. At any rate, I think I made a mistake saying Norther of heaven made the first of these, so sue me. Either way, I'm gonna make a full write up when I get another AT2K and spare nitefinder, which should be soon.

I don't get it: Why would you take it out of the AT2K shell? I mean, it's not making it much smaller, and it's only making the pump vulnerable to damage. And, it seems it would be more awkward to pump. What are the advantages to this modification?

This also makes the gun easier to aim in my opinion, as well as a less awkward side arm, if you're making an AT2K your side arm.

I've gotta agree, the AT2K shell is somewhat of an awkward shape.

Ok...the video is removed. I put an AT2K in an NF case a few months or so ago. It is definitely a worthwhile thing to do, especially how I put the pump in there (not sure how you did it...). It is very comfy, a ton less awkward to fire, carry, put in your pocket, etc. and it looks awesome. I put my pump through the nf's light holder thing and made a new pump handle out of some plexi and PVC, so the pump retains a good length while not sticking way out of the blaster, and it is rock-solid. I didn't post it because it isn't bondo'd/painted yet, but I may post one when I get a chance just to show how it's done. By the way, mine with the shortened pump takes 5-6 pumps. Six can be done, but I usually stick to five to be safe.

Reading all the posts in this thread could really explain you questions, but of course you did that so you wouldn't look like a tool, right?
