The contract.

Enjoy!

I may be doing a written tutorial on everything I did here. Pictures are few and far between but who needs those when you have video!

The sequence of steps in the video.

Pry off the orange nub on the back.

Pry off the front orange nub. I had to use a heat gun for this. I could have done it without the heat gun but it would have taken longer and it may not have come off so cleanly.

Unscrewing the gun.

plugging the pump and lubing the o-ring.

Hot glue over the firing pin spring to speed the opening of the valve. This increase both velocity and range.

Use a pipe cutter around the indentation on the barrel. This will pull off the stock barrel and the AR assembly will come out as well.

Take a piece of petg and wrap E-tape around the base. Use two sections of E-tape here.
Then Goop that puppy up and jam it into the socket where the AR assembly used to be.

Now you could stop here but I decided I wanted to protect the barrel.

Next you will see me adding a little bit of red E-tape around the petg in the front and the back. This is there to help secure the petg and keep it snug and centered in the PVC.

Next Goop it up and slide on the PVC barrel.

Next you will see me unscrewing the black plastic pieces I do not wish to be painted.

Then I am sanding it down to allow the paint to adhere better.

You will notice I covered the internals with painters tape to prevent certain parts gettign painted. The goal here was to paint only the barrel and the trigger. I added a piece of white fbr to the end of the barrel to prevent spray paint from entering the barrel.

Here you will see a shot of the painted halves + the painted barrel and trigger.

Next is a shot of the paintjob after a few clear coats and one basic black plastic tub reinserted.

Then you will see it with the handles added.

The PVC was not a perfect fit inside the shell. The hold for the stock barrel was a bit too big for the PVC.
To prevent the stock barrel from wobbling around a little I decided to add some hot glue to help support it in place.

360 pan around gun.

Before;/after.

Couple Test fires.

A quick panning shot of primary and sidearm.

One of my favorite photos.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I like the paint job, because St. Paul Central's colors are red and black. Nice.

Since getting a NIB one at HbH, I am definitely trying this. I was going to PVC coupler it, I may or may not do that. Amazing mod as usual. I like the song, It is my friend's favorite, he never stops listening to it.

So, I assume this is the second "top-secret" project at HbH? Or is it?

No, I purchased this after the war and Forsaken modded it for me this week. The second 'top-secret' project has yet to be posted.

So the shotgun is your primary, and the 750 is your secondary. What is your pistol/sidearm going to be?

Love the paint, looks great!

That thing is sick, seriously. as much as I hate pump guns, that thing is a monster of a sidearm, hell, it destroys most people's primaries. Good stuff.

Also what type of epoxy putty do you use?

yeah I'm that guy who made that cool thing with the cool paint.

The two guns are like brothers. One is big and powerful, and the other is small and powerful. That is a sick gun.

He may've directed the question at me... in any case: I hadn't really considered a sidearm... the 750 only takes 3-4 pumps so it's pretty much a last resort gun, if it needs to be. I might add a nitefinder to my arsenal at some point, though, who knows.

How long is the barrel?

What kind of paint/ vinyl dye did you use? ( This includes primer and red and black color)

You're on to something really good, F_A24.

Pictures do speak a thousand words. Videos; well, what can we say. Most impressive.

You do have a lot of free time on your hands to do that thing non-stop; or do you do them over a longer period of time. With my schedule, as soon as glue has to dry (even hot glue), I'm gone for another hour or so. Days when I'm painting (I let stuff dry 2-3 days before I handle it again).

I look forward to seeing more mod videos. Now THAT's YouTube worth watching.

The barrel is 6" long.

I used Red Duplicolor vinyl dye. It wasn't the regular red. Apparently Duplicolor release more colors in their "Tuner" Colors line. These new paints give it a much better look. There was no primer needed with this spray paint.

The black I used was your typical Gloss black also in Vinyl dye.

This modification and video editing write up took two days.
The paint dries very quickly. The clear coat also dries really quickly.

As far as free time goes...

I work 38 hours a week.

I do have free time. I just sometimes splurge on this hobby and get very focused and driven to complete certain things.

Video tutorials for pistols is easy.

Video tutorials for primaries is much more time consuming.
