Hey everyone, As many of you know, last years turn out was two people... seriously. This year Im posting up the planning thread a little earlier so we can all have a spot on our Calendars before something else pops up. Im leaving the date totally un-decided so everyone can just post up there favoured times. These are the following

THE DATE IS GOING TO BE JANUARY 3RD 2009.


-Bring water, its tireing. As for food, down the street theres a few fast food spots, but their all custy and such. But the Community centre usually sells some nice bagels.

-No singled titans or any really powerfull homemades. BBBB and LBB are fine, but be range aware.

-Eye protection is mandatory.

-Grenades are allowed. I dont mean socks, Angel . I'll bring an example of a flash trip mine.

-The place I plan on playing in is cawthra forest and around the Cawthra estate which is made up of very, very many trees.

-bring some spare guns to sell or maybe lend out, Il bring some spares.

-For ages, whatever, your never tooo old or young to nerf.

-Games- We will be playing East Coast style rules for most of the games but for the following two games, it will be a one hit kill rule.

-Witch Doctor, 2 and 3 team games.
-Disonorable, 2 and 3 team games.

East Coast Style rules
-Capture the Flag, 2 and 3 team games
-Death match, 2 and 3 team games
-Central Flag, 2 and 3 team games
-Pistol and sidearm Elimination, 2 and 3 team games
-Fortress, 2 and 3 team games
-Centre flag, 2 and 3 team games
-Bomb, I'll explain rules later
-Team Spyhunt, similar to Centre flag, but with 2/3 flags
-Elimanation, free for all
-Surge, I'll explain the rules later

-we willl meet just infront of the estate

BE THERE BEFORE 12:00. I'll be leaving at 6:00 or when there is no one left. Night battels are crazy intense so if you want to stay for a few, bring a flash light.

I'll be there around 10:30-11:00. I would like most sales to be done before the outing actually starts, but you're free to barter throughout, I can't really stop you.

And Im sure I left something out so If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

Count me in. Sounds amazing. I was into nerf last year, but I had no gun good enough for this. Do you have any reccomendation for a winter gun?

Something with a tight barrel material for anything should work fine. Maybe CPVC on an air gun? But dont use Hotglue and expect it to hold your gun together, last yeat the barrel fell straight off my AT3K halfway through a round.

Thanks. Ill stick to epoxy putty then. I think a CPVC coupler'd singled 2k would fit the bill....

Let's try and get this all right this time around, people!

I'm in, and I'll be bringing at least Tank with me, maybe one other. Finally I have a solid ride for a war. I really don't care about dates, as long as it's a Saturday (which it should be anyway).

PS. I think by now you should have spelling down-pat. C'mon dude.

Whatever date you decide on, DO NOT CHOOSE DECEMBER 13TH.
I am planning a massive war for that date.
It will be bigger than Hell.
I have zero plans on hijacking this thread. Please no-one else mention the war on Dec 13th in this thread.
Pm me if you have too.

If it could be a couple weeks before or after December 13th I am totally down.
I would recommend 2 weeks before the 13th.

As soon as we get a time frame set up I can start inviting other people.

Well I think January 3rd should work, as two weeks before the 13 of December wont give us much time to get ready, and two weeks after is too close to New Years and I know many people will have plans for that day. So if everyones alright with January 3rd 09, then that can be the day!

EDIT: I would also think that in three weeks there wouldnt be much snow, taking away the fun factor of an outdoor winter war in Canada.

That date works for me. I wouldn't mind no snow to be honest... I snowboard but Im not a real winter person.

Yah, snowboarders for the win! Last year we had a small snow fall, just enough to have a little winter bonus fun, but not enough to actually piss anyone off.

When I say grenades, I mean any sort of projecttile that may let darts loose in mid air, or possibly after impact. Things like the Barracade buster, homemade land mines, etc... A hit in WCNO will only count if its by a dart or barrel tap. I dont mean socks or a radius hit, it must be a hit on the body to count. Hope that clears it up.

Yeah, I should be able to come. I like to think I'm not a pussy anymore, which greatly increases the chance of me showing up. I'll try and round up some others, but I imagine I'll only be able to get 1 or 2. A bit off topic, but am I the only one who can't reload in gloves? How do you do it?

A few things:
1. Rokor, your map doesn't work. I have no clue where this thing is, google maps is giving me nothing.
2. As for selling, I will mainly be looking to buy I think. Angel, you still down for our SM1.5K deal? I have a NIB PAS that I might sell, I don't love the things and I have 2.

One thing I would love to buy are some mini bungies, which I can't find anywhere around me. I will have my xbow up and running, though I doubt Im going to use it. I need the bungies for it.
I would also like a maxshot, which I know angel and dumpster can find around them for like 9.99. I would fully reinburse them if they could bring me one.

Thanks for fixing the link. That actually isn't too far from me. I shouldn't have any problems getting there. This is looking like we may have 10 people, which would make it a good sized war. Are springers any good in the cold at all? I don't have an air powered secondary.

I forgot to ask in my other post, but... I'm wondering if anyone will be able to sell me some stefans, I dont have many weights left and the foam I use is quite cheap. If anyone's able to bring any extra, Il be willing to pay a fair amount.

I have quite a lot of hereticorp blanks. Good quality stuff. What I don't use for my stefans for the war, Ill sell to you cheap.
