Ok, so at my school, we have this pretty huge field house, like a gymnasium, and the other day, i was thinking it would be perfect for a CTF war. the only problem is, i only have like 4 friends who enjoy nerfing, and none of them like i do. So i ask the NIC: how do i get my friends into nerfing? they are into airsoft and paint balling, but that would never work in the field house. The field house could support a war up to 20 people teams, but we would need like 10 minimum on a team to keep it slightly interesting. Also, we would need almost 20 people to get the school to even THINK about it. However, if i could get some sort of Nerfing club set up, the school would be much more likely to go with it. our school is fine with a club as long as i can get a supervisor (usually a teacher/TAC teacher [TAC's are homerooms at my school]) and some student interest. Luckily, my friends who do nerf go to my school.
We do, however have a young republicans club and a young democrats club. I was thinking maybe we could get this into a "who is really better" competition, but the dems would never go with it.
BTW: PM me if you think you go/went to the same school as i do. if you did, you will know so . if you don't/didn't, sux for you !

-Cpvc that's been under your home for 10 years can shatter. New Cpvc doesn't, unless you enjoy violently beating your gun on a tree.
-If you could figure out how to strap a Vulcan as a hand replacement, that would be sweet. I would just stop there, and run around calling myself Mega Man.

Post flyers and stuff like that to raise attention. And for the matter of convincing people who paintball and airsoft, shoot them with a singled plugged titan. They will ask you "how the fuck does a nerf gun hurt?!" and more or less join you. And elaborate on the whole democrat and republican clubs, I really don't see any connection with a nerf club.
There was something on the bottom of the ad that said erotyka. Sounds like something spicy -Renegademilitia15

Start talking to people, and just ask them straight up if they would be interested. A key thing that helps convince people to play is if you can provide them with blasters and eye protection - a lot of people will try it just for the hell of it if you throw a nightfinder in their hands.
Echnalaid has the right idea about showing off a singled titan - only nerfers realize how much power you can get out these guns, and you can really impress someone with a demo.

Yeah, Milwaukee isn’t exactly a hotbed of nerf. The best way to get someone to try it out is to show them what it’s all about. Show them just how far a modded gun can shoot.
A small number of friends isn’t a problem. Start with that group, and get them fully interested. Don’t think in terms of a huge area at first; there’s nothing wrong with games of 2 on 2. Once you have a small core of dedicated players, have each of them bring another person or two. It doesn’t take too long to get up to 20 people that way.
That being said…you’re in Milwaukee? I would be absolutely amazed if you were allowed to do this on school grounds as a recognized activity, as MPS isn’t exactly rational when it comes to toy guns.

No, its a catholic school, I can definitely see why MPS is against toy guns.
the whole Republicans-democrats thing was just to find some sort of premise to have an event.
I will be demonstrating the power of a singled titan too. Now that i have one of course.
These are all really great ideas for convincing others to join nerfing. (lets get a list going?)
