I'm stuck in State College, but I grew up outside of Philly. I've never wished I went to Drexel instead of PSU until now. I really wish my roommates were from the Philly area so they could appreciate the lifting of the curse as much as I do. Whatever. I think I need a big ass Cheesesteak to celebrate.

I may not be a Phillies fan, but I think it would break the space time continuum if the Tampa Bay Devil Rays had won. My state team is The Seattle Mariners, unfortunately. I have given up on them, and am a Red Sox fan.

I watched the whole game, I just can't believe it. After 28 years of waiting we finally won!!!!

My dad grew up in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia, so naturally he supports all major Philadelphia sports teams including the Phillies, as do I, despite the fact I live in Connecticut, a black hole of New York and Boston fans. I thought it was funny to See Ryan Howard come in to hug Lidge and Ruiz after the last pitch and he ended up knocking them over in the process.

Now its time for the Eagles to cruise through their season and postseason and win the Super Bowl.

I am a die hard Cubs fan. As Bull stated, 2003 was ABSOLUTE crap. The Cubs should have won that World Series, but no. Mr. Steve Bartman just had to be at the game and rob cubs fans of what they had been waiting almost a century for.( He reached over the wall and stole a live ball that Moises Alou could have easily had.)

I wanted the Rays to win. I just don't like the Phillies and it would have been cool to see the Rays win in their first year ever in the playoffs.

I was actually referring to the Mariner's 2003 team, and by "teh shit," I meant "the shit," as in awesome. We had awesome players like Jamie Moyer, Mike Cameron, John Olerude (not sure how to spell his name), Dan Wilson, and EDGAAAR to name a few.

We also actually did fairly well that year.

And about that Cubs game, I totally remember that now. Man, was that a doozy.

Life must suck horribly to be a cubs fan. Growing up in St. Louis, I am an absolute Cardinals fan. They are right behind the Yankees for the most number of world series wins, and the last time they one the world series (2006) was in their new stadium. This was a terrible year for them though.

You know, I personally can't stand any type of organized professional sports, placing Baseball at the top of the list. Ever since they cancelled the World Series by going on strike over not getting paid enough, I stopped watching the game. This series though attracted me to the sport all over again.

Fuck anyone that doesn't like the Phillies. Who cares if the Yankees have won the most championships followed by the Cardinals, they lost this year. The Phillies came out on top anf they earned it. If the Phillies can get someone as annoyed by the stike as me to end my 14-year boycott of the sport, then they are the greatest team of all time, regardless of how many times they have won the championship.

That parade was ridiculous. There must have been at least 40,000 people outside my Father's office. The Phantic was hilarious though, I can't wait to see what happens next season.
