Hey guys, I know I don't have much say here with me being so new in all, but I had a good idea.
Recently I have noticed more and more locked topics, and they are becoming an eyesore to the threads around them, and they just take up space on the recent topics page.
So I thought, "How hard would it be to just move the locked topics to a new Sub-forum?"
We could call it like the Graveyard or something, but I am just putting the idea out there- not giving it a name.

~Lucian

EDIT-
So I am suggesting that we add a Sub-form for the locked topics, to keep the forums filled with open topics and not...(running out of ideas) the useless, unnecessary questions, or post about a new gun (which is actually something like a Nite Finder, and the topic-maker didn’t search)

After just looking though some of the sub-forums I noticed not many locked topics, but this idea would also help in the future

We have method, just let it be, it works so far.

Also, less than a week or two of NH experience in reading and posting should give you a signal like:

It's an okay idea, but it's really not necessary. We have ways of dealing with it. We just lock the thread, and leave it be. It dies from inactivity, and nobody ever speaks of it again. Problem solved. And it's not really an 'eyesore,' it's just a thread you can't click on. Plus, I am fairly sure the only member of the staff that can add new sub-forums is cxwq, the administrator, who has'nt been active in a while.

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

No, we're not going to do that because that means we have to do extra work for something that annoys you. If we're not annoying you to some capacity, we're not doing our jobs. Get over it. We lock a topic like twice a month.

Christ, you fuckers are getting picky. Actually I'll tell you what...One of you start paying me a salary and I'll do whatever you want.

Guys, no big deal. The administration works (fairly) hard and gets paid nothing to follow a system that has worked for the past few years. Be happy we have some awesome people at the helm doing a great job that makes all of our lives easier.

I reiterate:

Agreed, this site rocks (my nose is turning a little brown). But, like I've said before, an entry test on the Code of Conduct might improve the quality of posting.

Damn it Foamfoot. Why is it that you kill every good topic with a retarded response a few days late.

I just made a similar post, but I miss the days when we told you guys to shut the hell up, you would (and quickly). Until all the back seat moderation came around, when we wanted a topic closed, we would just strongly hint at it. Violators got at least a 30 day suspension. I miss those days. I want them to come back.

So leave this, and other topics alone, and we may not need to close as many. It's a two way street people.
