Hi, so for the longshot carbine, do we have to open the gun and take the barrel out then cut or what? The barrel i mean inside the main gun.

That'd be the smart thing to do.
Shorter barrel = Shorter ranges + Decreased accuracy

It's a distinct possibility. But seriously, that's all you could come up with? You are a terrible Troll.

You've never modified a longshot have you?
The "barrel" is purely cosmetic and serves no actual purpose.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

If I were you I would replace the barrel with brass and actually open the gun up. I know it sounds tough but I think you can do it. Don't minimize it. It does nothing but loose accuracy and range.

I know that.
I meant IF he was going to replace it.

Why have you made 8 topics about how to do this or where you can find a mod for something? We are not here to spoon feed you like a baby! Just search, and if you don't come up with anything try and be your own problem solver. Just about every mod needs to have the gun taken apart but you could probably pull off not having to open the gun on this mod if you don't want it to look amazing.

All that you really need to do is go at it with a saw a little bit infront of where the dart tooth would be.

P.S. What's up with everybody using the phrase "Spoon feed you imformation" lately?

I saw it used so and I thought it was a good phrase, so I used it.

NO IT DOESN'T. Unless you have barrel replacements it does not. I did this and it didn't lose range. Also look at the "Modifying a longshot" thread and look at the note by the carbine.

For future refferance the best thing to do if you have a question about a particular mod the best thing to do is PM the original creator to ask them about it.

but about the mod, you actually don't have to open up the gun to minimize it because you can cut throught the false barrle and just pull out the remaining piece by hand. that is how I actually do it. But to remove the air restrictors and other shit like that you do indeed need to dismantle the gun.
