Yea so i just finished my first modded gun. I did the standard LS integration,AR removal, and added a NF spring + a new paint job. (sorry bad quality pictures)

Any way i was wondering if some how i could integrate an LED flash light into the gun somewhere? I usually use it for Humans vs Zombies when clearing out rooms. I always have to duct tape a flashlight on which gets really annoying and sticky. So can anyone give me some ideas on how to make a flashlight attachment or integrate a flashlight into it.?

you could always integrate a flashlight into the longshot scope so you can just slide it onto the rail.

All of you need to fix your grammar. You're also allowed to have an original thought on this site. Figure out where you want the flashlight and put it there.

But that takes away the point of the ls undergun. Maybe you could drill a hole in that circle under the frontguns barrel and put a maglite in there so you can use the maglite and undergun. B)

I could possibly do that. I would also need to rig a trigger to turn it on if it were inside.

I am modding my Longshot and want to add a light, so my first idea was to get a mini maglite and put it in some cpvc and glue it on top to look like a sight. But then i had the idea to just buy some high intensity LED's and do a whole battery-pack thing like FA.

I just used rubberbands to hold an old surefire LED flashlight from before the uber efficient Cree LEDs came out.

Depending on how comfortable you are with working with circuits and soldering you could do something along these lines. I just installed some LED's around the outside of my barrel, but inside the nose of the gun.

It turned out very clean, and I am pretty happy with it. It also looks very cool with the clear barrel.

Also it is quite bright.

It is probably a bit too simple for a full writeup as of now, but I have a couple other ideas I want to implement and once those are done I will do a full writeup for you guys.

Wow that's really cool. I was thinking of something like that before I made my cool barrel extension and silencer. And before I got my monster ultra high intensity LED. That looks awesome.

Is the shorter prong on an LED the positive or negative?

I actually hollowed out my front gun integration to place a decent flashlight inside it. I also cut a notch in the flashlight so that the rod from the front gun priming grip can push the flashlight slightly back and forth to turn it on and off. This is assuming your flashlight has a button on the rear end. If you're interested I could take pictures of the internals to explain it simply.just let me know

The negative or cathode side has the shorter pin, and inside the LED it looks somewhat like an anvil. The longer pin is to the positive or anode side and the inside is a much more narrow piece of metal.
