So I was reading both Captain Slug's MASS topic and BendyStraw's Tsunami Scatter gun topic and I thought to myself wouldn't it cool to combine the two? So i did.

I present the MASSive Tsunami Scatter gun

This isn't really anything new as both ideas were already posted. I just decided to combine the two.

There is some practicality to this weapon as well following Bendy Straw's tutorial he said he only got around 50' I would assume that with the added air volume of this weapon i should be able to achieve higher ranges.

No ranges yet. there was a slight leak and now my valve in the bbbb to no longer works. So I'm gonna call this MK. 1 and build MK. 2 tomorrow.

Any questions?

P.S. Thanks Captain Slug and Bendy Straw for the awesome ideas and write ups.

More important than ranges on a gun like this is the spread of the darts at the ranges you're going to be using it from. It'd be impossible to miss if the spread was something like 4' at 40' out but if the darts stay in a tight cluster it wouldn't be as practical. I've used a Big Blast with 3 6" PETG barrels and the spread was maybe 1.5' across at a range of 60'. Not huge but big enough that it made aiming a little more forgiving than having only a single dart.

I think the ideal spread you should shoot for is about 2-5' across at a range of halfway out or farther. Anything smaller and you'd lose most of the advantage of having multiple shots; anything more and the darts would just go everywhere and you'd have a good chance of missing your target.

Thats pretty cool. I just think 4 barrels is enough.

To make the spread more effective, you could shotgun load the barrels with 3 or 4 1" stefans. By doing so, you up your chances even more of hitting someone, with a slight loss in range of course. Some of us already do this with other airguns (but I found that all guns with enough volume will do this, like NFs).

If I ever get my hands on a BBBB...

But you can totally shoot Vacc there, he loves it!

This just motivated me to build one myself. Great job although it's broken. Ranges once the second ones finished will be interesting.

Thats just beautiful. I use a similar concept, but with my LS, with a marvelous salvo integrated. I have this sling made from backpack straps, that I put on my back, and I whip it out to take a shotgun blast at people when my primary is out. This would be perfect for that kind of strategy. Oh and epoxy putty FTW.

It's just screaming to be rearloading...

I seen a movie about that once.
