I can't get my mav's Air Restrictors out because there's this little glued on orange thing attached to the pole. Can anyone solve this problem?

A picture would be nice.

@ upperhand (see below): chill out he's just a noob asking questions, he will either straighten up and fly right (ex: post a pic and explain a little more) or he will get banned. Just chill, set back, and watch the show.

This was pineys advice for the longshot, but it still works with the maverick barrels.

TO REMOVE THE ORANGE PRIMING HANDLE USE A CLAW HAMMER

Or a flathead screwdriver

! Goddammit yesterday I thought that the post didn't get through- I pressed post and nothing happened. pressed it again and nothing happened. Today, I checked if I had posted, and thought my post didn't get through. Sorry, hope that I don't do it again. never mind- can't find the camera... but the orange thing is that glued part of the turret that must be removed to get to the insides.

use a claw hammer. its not glued in, it just uses friction. If you apply enough force, you can get it out. Then in the end, you have to pound it back on with a hammer.

Just make sure the pin is on right with the spring on the back of the turret.

As BustaNinja said, it's not glued. Using a claw hammer works, or you can just use a flathead screwdriver to pry it off. However, make sure when you put it back on you push it down all the way, or sometimes the barrel doesn't fit back in the gun. Gently hammer it back down or bang it down with the butt of a screw driver. Hope that helped.

I used a tiny screwdriver to push out the little metal rod from the center , then use a needle nose pliers to take out the whole rod. Then I use a claw hammer to pull the whole thing apart.

It sounds like you people are talking about a long-shot, doesn't it say he can't get his Maverick's AR's out?
Anyways, I've encountered this problem, I removed the turret AR's by drilling 'em out, alot simpler, and faster. If you want them completely out, then to open the turret up (mind you, this is the BLUE Maverick), I just pulled the turret off...it was really easy, but the yellow Mavericks wouldn't work that way.

Yes but the same principle applies to the turret rod which he can't get out to open up the turret.

I suggest not getting the maverick because of it's lack of range but for speed it's the fastest pistol but you need a flat head screw driver and pry of the back piece of the turret and make sure to get the front plunger thing in that groove.

When I did it I just pulled on the barrel real hard, but using a screwdriver works two. That's what I did after I put it back together. But be careful cause the maverick usually doesn't perform as well with the AR's out because when I did it with mine it just started getting worse ranges.
