Hello, I'm glad to (hopefully) contribute something, rather than just asking my previous stream of questions.

Spartan_117's Universal Longshot Mod

Spartan_117 made his Longshot shoot all (I assume) types of stock darts. However, one complaint was quite prevalent in the responses:

"The clips don't work with the taggers and suckers."

And so: My clip attempts to accommodate them by:
A: Adding a second spring to push against the head friction and
B: Cutting a bit off to make room for the heads.

Cut along these red lines ON ONLY ONE SIDE. However, I found that the follower pops out at an angle so I added a small tab (see red circle)
to catch against the leftover clippy thing (terribly vague, the things that hold the magazine together that are not screws) which I cut to an appropriate size.


The clip does fit in the gun! YAY!


I'm not sure this picture proves anything...



So... Problems:
Still OCCASIONALLY jams (approx. 1 in 30) with taggers and with suckers (approx. 1 in 20)
Sometimes spits darts out top when not in gun, due to extra spring load.
Heads still stack tall in clip.

It works, it adds versatility, and I like it! It needs work, though. Suggestions?

Oh, and one note: It may be that the darts will perform worse in non-carbine Longshots due to the barrel. I'm not sure.

EDIT3: Ranges, right, sorry. I, um... don't know. BUT! They are comparable (within a +/-3 ft margin of error) to stock streamlines in stock clips in range.

Interesting to say the least, Nice work. But one thing of advice is make your pictures much MUCH smaller.

I actually like this a lot. Very cannibalistic, but very cool. Would be good for a stock-darts only type of war, which I know we have a few members that do that here.

Resize your fucking pictures right now. Im surfing on a HUGE screen and they dont fit. I can't even understand the mod in context. Please.

Ranges were explained above in my third edit, but assuming you expected a reply instead: Ranges are comparable within +/-3 feet to stock streamlines in stock clips.

Actual ranges don't matter, as they are an aspect of my gun, not my clips. Yours will vary with your gun, not your clips.
