Why would you dye FBR anyways?
Uhh, so it's easier to find on the ground.

Buy white FBR.
And buy black FBR for winter when you're snow nerfing.

I've heard white FBR is way too big in diameter, and I have really bad experiences involving stretching foam.
Ubermensch: I already do that, and it doesn't help all that much.

Well, you wouldn't want white or black, just go to your local hardware store, I guarantee they'll have some warning neon spray paint. Orange will work well.
Are you implying that I spray the whole dart, because I already said I add color to the ends.

I find that winter nerfing in the northwest consists of alternately firing and drying your darts. They are generally easy to find, no matter what color, as they float on top of the puddles.

To make it easier to find, spray the backs or fronts of the darts with neon paint. It works, trust me.
Since I know most spray dissolves some foam, how well does FBR react to the accelerants?

In order to make my darts easier to identify from the rest of the pile I've started spraying a light coat of vinyl dye onto the felt discs while they're still on the roll.

Just while this topic is up, how many good stefans do you guys think I can make with 50ft of foam?
50' = 600"
If you estimate an extra 1/4" for trimming, you end up with about 266 usable blanks. If you screw up by 1/2" per dart you get about 240. It goes down from there. Assuming you're making 2" stefans of course.
Of course for me, it's 300 even, but I have a machine

Thank you, but that has already been established previously in this thread.
