I've had the chain blazer unmodded sitting in my toy box for quite some time now, and I'm wondering If anyone knows its the chains from the Vulcan fit the Chainblazer.

There is still nothing like a 60' close quarters assault weapon for indoors NERFing.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

You might be able to take several days out of your life and modify one to use Vulcan chains, but the result wouldn't be worth the work..

I tried using the chains on my razorback and it didn't work, so I imagine it would be the same for the chainblazer

I picked up a Razorbeast, sans chains, and was wondering if anyone has had any success with creating chains? I'm intrigued by the idea of modifying it to use the Vulcan chains, though.... I've got plenty of those already.

I will say no. I think that there is too much difference between the two to use the chains interchangeably with stock guns.

Am I the only one who uses the sig function for a sig?

You would have to modify the Vulcan belt so that the distance between each link is the same as the older flexible plastic chain that the Rototrack, Chainblazer, and Razorbeast use. You would then have to modify the advancing cog so that it holds the Vulcan belt sections.

It would be a lot of work.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

It would be a lot of work.

Or, it might be possible to replace the Chainblazer cog with the Vulcan's cog, but spacing Etc. would probably make it more work, still, it's an idea.

FA_24 has around 7 toy boxes if I recall correctly. You want to laugh at him?

No. I think it may be worth a shot though. I think through modifications it could though.

I think that is closer to the best idea. I wouldn't want to modify BOTH the blaster and the chains. I would be much more interested in merely (Hah! As if!) fabricating a Vulcan cog and modifying the razor beast, so that I could continue using the as-manufactured, stock replacement chains. Okee doke. I'll do this. It won't be for a while, though, as I'm still in the middle of a bunch of other fabrication projects.

Because all Angel said was no, and they are giving out ideas on how it could work.No offense, and I might get banned for just talking back at you, but this is what NIC is for. Giving out ideas so that someone will get it right and have an awesome mod at the end.
Truce.

Because even though we appear to have reached consensus that the modification would not be easy, it could be interesting, and someone may yet choose to take up the challenge.

If I thought for one moment that he only had seven, then I might laugh.

When I heard the word toy box, I pictured a brightly colored wooden chest with teddy bears and jump ropes and shit in it. Large tubs full of nerf guns aren't "toy boxes" to me. Yes they're boxes full of toys, I have some too, but the words "toy box" induce an image of a box full of child's toys... Most of our nerf guns can hardly be considered toys...
