Trying to host the last war of 2008. This is the planning thread for the Capital District Nerf Outing(Winter). I briefly discussed this with biofreak2 and I decided that we should give it a shot.

WHEN: Saturday, December 6st, 11:00 AM to when everyone is too tired to play.

WHERE: Woodlawn Elementary School, 3311 Wells Ave, Schenectady, NY 12304

Rules: Eye Protection-Not an option, unless you can vote.
Dress properly, don't embarrass yourself, no over the top camo and what not.
Homemades on a case to case basis. NO singled TITANS or brassed BBBBs.
East Coast Rules

Bring food and water. This includes lunch. It WILL be cold, but that won't stop us! Wear warm stuff.

First person that shows up gets a box of cookies(maybe).(courtesy of bio)

Any questions? We will most likely hold this event regardless of numbers, because most of Wardog should be attending, but if you want to come, we can make arrangements to accommodate you. I'll post pics of the location a little later.

Done, though from here out, I'll edit as needed, no bumping necessary. Just in case people are unsure of where this is, its 5 miles from Albany, NY. About a 3 hour drive from NYC and Boston, 4.5 hours from Buffalo.

Date changed to the 6th. I know that it interferes with LANO, but I don't think that any of the West coast nerfers are going to come all the way here anyhow, or really anyone else, for that matter.

Bumping this after two weeks. Fadinglight, I still need to know your situation. As for the rest of Wardog, sound off so I know some exact numbers for attendance. Chem-goggles, I'm gonna assume your a yes, but I need to know about digitalkid and whatever Matt and Nick's account names are. This would be a kickass event if we can get +8 people again.

Almost three weeks till this war, bumping again to check if anyone else can confirm yet, if not don't worry about it, I know people are busy. More of Wardog confirmed with me, we should have at least 7 just from our clan.

One week guys. Weather update: High 32 degrees, low 24 degrees. 8mph winds. In other words, COLD. Bring warm stuff, none of the crap that happened last week. Oh, and gloves FTW, real, full finger gloves. Ready your breakfasts.

Icespartan, I need to know before Saturday if you're coming or not.

EDIT: Bit of a shake up in my social life(what little I have). My girlfriend's sweet 16 is the 6th, all day. Therefore, I will not be attending. The show will go on, biofreak2 has stepped up to host.
