Why in the world would you put LEDs in a gun that mimics a classic revolver from the old west.

L0pper - Ranges are in the mid twenties. The hammer needs to be re-cut to give it the full travel distance. Its off by about a 64th.

Silencer - Its 1-1/8 ID polycarbonate tubing; length is 2-3/8. I got the grips online at vintagegungrips.net. Its a bit expensive for a nerf gun, but I was weak. Good luck with the drum (or "turret") dude. I have a few ideas floating around so we'll see how it goes.

So the plunger diameter is what, 1"? You could probably squeeze out a bit more range without significant;y changing the design... Just by upping the size to 1-3/8" Polycarbonate and using the appropriately sized rubber washer from the +Bow design. Maybe version two, eh? Still a marvelous piece, even if it only shot five feet.

Yea, I was planning on making one, but I've decided to make an original pistol. I plan on using your trigger/catch design though. I'll post it when I'm done, but that might be awhile since I'm in the middle of midterms.

This gun is genius, I love the way you constructed the hammer mechanism with the trigger set-up.
Question, is their much tension when you prime it? I.E. Is it hard to prime at all?

Thats really awesome, I remember when i was a noob I wanted to make a colt revolving rifle, I've still got the idea maybe I'll go trying to find springs sometime soon. Thats a really cool looking thing you have right now but there are some things you could try if you ever make a mark three.
1) Maybe see if you can upgrade to 1 3/8" for the plunger
2) the coupler at the end of the plunger is hogging a lot of room, maybe if you cut it down and enlarged the gun (spring, cocking handle/bar/hammer) you might get some better range out of it.

Draconis - I think you may have missed something...ranges, after everything has been aligned perfectly, are around 30 feet, not 5 feet.

A side of nerf - actually its not too bad. Imagine one of those hand workout grip things...a little harder than that.

Kyrativ - yeah the bushing is a little long. It will get trimmed and possibly replaced with something else should there be a Mk3.

No, I got that. I was stating that with how attractive the design is, we would STILL love it, even if it only achieved 5 foot ranges.

Haha, i was actually thinking about making an old west design, but i was more set on the colt 1851 navy. I also may have done it a tad bit differently, if i get a mill this summer and some polycarbonate i'll try to make my design.
