The folks at Kotaku posted a video of some gameplay of the new N Strike game

In all I count about 28 weapons total

Real nerf guns usable: Titan (now with exploding rocket power), Firefly, Longshot, Maverick, Vulcan, Recon.

The complete shot:



This is the gun select screen, however if you watch the video you will see other guns that do not appear above.

I'm currently trying to pause on each gun and take a screenshot, but here's something in the meantime: I got rid of all the recolors on the weapon select screen and sorted the blasters into existing and non:

[EDIT] That's all of the new guns that are in that quick bit at the beginning. There's a recolor of the magnum, a couple of the old guns, and some shots of the above guns but from different angles.

I wonder how long it will be before people start trying to do cosmetic mods to make some of the "new" guns in this game a reality? Personally, I think this one could be done without too a ridiculous amount of trouble:




Seriously though, it looks like it could be fun, and it also looks like they could use it as a platform for trying out new gun ideas in a virtual space (for the reaction to the "wow" factor without the expense of actually creating the gun in real life). If course, it wouldn't be quite the same, but it might help them avoid any major duds in the future, who knows?

There were some really cool looking ideas for new blasters in there. I, for one, hope they plan on making a production model of the rifle looking blaster thats near the bottom of the pic posted a few replies up.

The interview with the designers says that some of those guns are coming out next year, and some of those guns were just made up for the game. At least a couple of them don't look physically possible.

I was going to post the pictures of my two favorite guns, but Eboreg has beaten me to the punch.

The grenade launcher would be an interesting release for nerf. They really have slacked off in making a more interesting ball gun since the pulsator/ballzooka.

My expectations are pretty low, I'm assuming they'll release MAYBE one new design gun and have the others they release be the recolors.
That being said, the recolor Longshot looks smexy.
EDIT: Oh, also, I think the Spartan is a Beretta RX9, maybe CX9, not sure.

Yeah, but I doubt they will release the Spartan as a Blaster. My Accusations are based on its Clip. It's way bigger than the regular Longshot/Recon Clips, and I doubt Hasbro will release a new one soon.

On the other hand, I googled for "Raider CS-6", and look what I stumbled upon: Proof of Existence?
