I CALL IT PERFECTION.

I was searching around the haven, and realized there's almost no write-ups for the mega missile. So here it is.

Here is how the bbbb pistol turned out:









Sorry about the un-done bed. Haha.

Here's the write up.

Materials:

Thread seal tape 1x
Rose-art barrel 1x
1/2 inch pvc 4in 2x (i painted my pvc, so it'll be white)
bb mega missile 1x
hot glue gun 1x
hacksaw 1x
screw driver 1x



Step 1. Open up the gun.

Sorry, but i don't have a pic of the inside.


All you have to do is cut at the black line:




Step 2. Cut 2 pieces of 1/2 sch. 20 pvc. Both about 4 inches long.



You can see my screw driver in the back.


Step 3. Glue one piece of pvc on the orange/black nub.




Step 4. Glue the rose-art barrel into the end of the pvc tube. Then take the thread seal tape and thread it around the rose-art barrel. Thread it in a candy cane pattern.



Step 5. Then all you have to do is close up the gun, and make sure everything is air-tight and make sure everything strong and stuff. Here's how it'll look in the end.




ranges : not exact, but with a good stefan, i get about 1 hundred feet, unangled.

I'l get a proper range test sometime, but for now i won't be able to yet.

There's a hell of a lot of dead space in between the barrel and the tank. What are your ranges? Did you plug the pump?

Looks pretty simple. If the ranges are the same as what other people have gotten, then good job!

Well, this is a good mod and all, but I kind of doubt a hundred foot ranges. 70 or 80 feet, sure, but a hundred, I doubt it. At least without a plugged pump. And how many pumps does it take you to fill the tank?

100 is actually pretty realistic for the Mega Missile singled even if it is unplugged. Mine (Vulcan overhaul) is brassed though and I get 100. I doubt a crayola with all that dead space will. The OPv seems to be stronger than that of the LBB.

Nice write up I tried somthing like that it didn't work to well. On the back of the box the Tommy 20 looks diffrent then the ones I usually see, is it just the pic or can you buy them like that?

To all the nay-sayers of my 100 foot ranges, with a good stefan, i shall tell you of my feat. And maybe if you guys are lucky, a vid. It takes 20 good pumps to get the op sysytem kicking, but it still shoots amazingly. I shot from my window, straight, not angled, across the street and into the neighbors door. which i think is about a hundred. Also, the door is almost perfectly, in-line with my window.

I thought i wasn't seeing right, but i shot a couple times with my good stefans again, and it worked perfectly. There is also NO varying in the performance even after upwards of 100 shots.

I am attesting to the 100 foot capabilities of a mega missile. Varsity was standing at a MEASURED 95 ft, and the dart flew over him and we could not find it.

This is the second part to my mod. I don't really have a write-up this time. But you wouldn't need to see it. Its that simple. Here you go:

1. find savaged parts.

You'll need 1 magstrike pump. You won't need the vinyl.

You will also want a magstrke clip. It will improve the gun's usefulness.

2. Cutting the shell.

You need to cut the hole where the pump is to fit the magstike pump barrel.( I'll call it that... but i don't know the real name.)

3. Hot glue gun.This will need some intelligence.

When you glue the pump barrel into the tank of the bbmm, you'll need to do it so it will fit the 3 sheets of plastic that held the old pump on.


4. The magstrike clip. This is great. Because this gun doesn't come with a stock, and i don't feel like making a real one... i improvised, with great success.

i realize the stock/mag is off-center...but it still feels good to my shoulder.


Guess what. The stock/mag carries ammo.... pretty sweet huh?

Dude.... That's truly awesomeness. I love the magstrike clip. You hold darts in that right?

That's a pretty cool idea, using the magstrike clip for a stock. But I'm not sure I understand it though. Do you put the pump above your shoulder, because if not that would be quite uncomfotable.

silentsnipe: yes, it holds darts. And i just modded the clip to hold hold stefans....more pictures on that later.

ner commando: the pump goes over your shoulder, and the clip in front... I like it fully exteded. It increass the balance.
