Due to the on-the-fly nature of this project, a full write-up is impossible. This topic is a guide that shows exactly how to assemble the gun, what to cut and what not to cut, and how to cram an N-strike unity system into a Magstrike shell.

First things first.

The Internals:
Posted Image
This is the Marvelous Titan in its simplest form. The tubing connecting everything together in this picture is much too short, but that way you can see exactly how everything fits together.

Posted Image
Here is a diagram of the internals.

The Shell:
Posted Image
This is what half of the shell looks like after I cut the shit out of it to fit everything in.

Posted Image
Here's a quick-referrence of how I cut the case.

Blue = Removed.
Green = Left in, for good reason.
Light Blue = Hole cut in the side for tubing, etc.
Yellow = Actual cuts through the shell.

The long yellow cuts in the front create "tabs" that bend outward slightly, allowing the Hornet barrels to fit in the case (they are slightly too wide for the case)

Posted Image
These small square holes toward the bottom of the case allow the pump to fit in the case.

Posted Image
These holes in the handle are where the SMDTG trigger will be.

Posted Image
This small tab needs to be cut off to allow for the tubing that runs to the tank.

Installing the internals:
Next its time to squeeze all of this into the shell:
Posted Image
Notice I drilled holes through the other side of the shell to run the SMDTG tubing through. I suggest you find a different way to do this.

When done correctly, the Hornet assembly fits in perfectly, ans so does the Titan tank. The placement of the Titan's tank is crucial, as it decides whether or not your trigger will work.

Here's the Titan's trigger:
Posted Image
Posted Image
It's the metal piece from the Titan trigger plumber's gooped onto the Magstrike trigger. To accomodate this trigger, the inside of the handle on that side of the shell must be sanded or dremeled down a little:
Posted Image

DO NOT POST

The Pump Handle:
Posted Image
This is the pump handle I fabricated. It is a combination of 1/2" CPVC, 1/2" PVC, 3/4" PVC, and a 1/2" PVC Coupler. there is a longer length of CPVC on the inside of the tube, while the Coupler attaches on the outside. The PVC serves as the handle.

It's essentially a piece of 1/2" PVC hammered into a piece pf 3/4" PVC, with a piece of 1/2" CPVC hammered into the 1/2" PVC. The Coupler attaches the 1/2" PVC to the original handle, and the CPVC goes inside the original handle for extra stability. This is all plumber's gooped and superglued together.

To keep the pump from being pulled all the way out of the case when you try to pump it, you need this:
Posted Image
It's a sliver off of a 1/2" PVC coupler.
Place it here:
Posted Image
And it keeps the pump handle from coming out. (The O-ring hits it before the pump handle can be pulled all the way out of the case.)

Final Assembly:
Here's another picture of what the internals should look like before you close it:
Posted Image

When you get it together, it should look like this:
Posted Image

Now that you have the gun together, you should notice a few things. First, you have a gauge sticking out the top and flopping around. Here's how I fixed that:
Posted Image
That is a piece of a 1/2"PVC elbow.

Second, the Hornet Assembly is a little loose, and tends to droop downwards a little.
Here's the easiest way to solve that:
Posted Image
You can see where I added about 6-7 small zip ties tied together and looped them around the top ridge of the hornet assembly, and through the odd vent holes in the side of the magstrike. This does a good job of keeping the hornet in place.

Finally, slap a paintjob on it, and you're done:
Posted Image

Just add your preferred titan barrel, and barrel the hornets if you wish.

The finished product takes 20 pumps to fill to the highest point on the pressure gauge.
The ranges are standard for both guns.

Overall, I am very happy with this gun. It came together beautifully.

Thank you to everyone who helped along the way.

Any questions?

This is slightly off-topic, but not really. Are you left handed? It seems like the tubing would be in the way if you ware right handed, but it looks comfy for a lefty.

This is very cool. I was looking for something to do with a Magstrike set, and my local Target has Hulk blaster sets half price at the moment. I am so doing this. ^_^

WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE?!

Seriously though, that thing is a monster, I love it. I've never seen anyone use a T joint with the vinyl tubing when using a SMDTG trigger system, maybe I'm just not looking around. Either way, this thing is amazing. Would a test video be out of reach?

I checked the whole original topic and I didn't see an answer for this, so I'll ask.

Why did you pick the Magstrike's shell?

My guess is that is that its the perfect fit. Easy to find a spot for the Hornet barrels and it wouldnt take that much dremeling compared to other blaster shells, the Longshot for example.

But this is a pretty insane mod/integration. Its totally primary worthy, my guess.

Very good work.
I gladly add this to the directory.

Do the hornet barrels get less range because one valve is firing two hornet barrels at once?

I am curious why you retained the whole huge orange Titan barrel, and then singled it way out at the end?

If that really is as it appears to be, you are giving up a major portion of the Titan's power.

I am 99% sure that he used the titan barrel as a stabilizer for the micro firing barrel. On my titan, I just dremelled a hole through the front air restrictor/vent thing and then shoved a pipe down through it. I have a long barrel, but it won't wobble or be able to move at all since it is through the original barrel.

You know, I've always wondered this: can you use the bladder case as a shoulder stock? I mean, yeah you could, but its it comfortable?

And just an FYI, the titan tank has its own built in check valve just inside of the nipple that feeds from the pump. I had to remove that one. Its a pain in the ass if you try to get multiple shots off a 2K, only to later find out there's another check valve. I doubt you will, but if you need to take it out, just ram a 1/8" drill bit down there (preferably attached to a rotating drill).

I'm right handed. For the most part, the tubing doesn't get in the way, but you're right, this would be much more comfortable for lefties.

Unfortunately, yes. I have no means of taking a video of this. (yet)

I checked the whole original topic and I didn't see an answer for this, so I'll ask.

I had a dead Magstrike lieing around. I was going to put a Marvelous Salvo in the magstrike, and try to stick this into a case made out of a combination of the Titan and Hornet cases, but realized that was retarded. (Lynx brought about this realization). imaseoulman's arachnaphobia (the magstrike one) inspired me a little, as well.

Very good work.
I gladly add this to the directory.

Thanks! And no, the hornet barrels' range is unaffected by the T-ing, as far as I can tell.

I am curious why you retained the whole huge orange Titan barrel, and then singled it way out at the end?

If that really is as it appears to be, you are giving up a major portion of the Titan's power.

I have piece of CPVC running from the very back of that orange barrel to the coupler in the front, and I've filled all the dead space in between. I basically kept it because I wanted to still be able to fire the missles. (for shits and giggles).

You know, I've always wondered this: can you use the bladder case as a shoulder stock? I mean, yeah you could, but its it comfortable?

And just an FYI, the titan tank has its own built in check valve just inside of the nipple that feeds from the pump. I had to remove that one. It's designed to be a stock, and works well as a stock.

The check valve in the Titan pump is the only reason this gun works. Without it, the SMDTG Trigger would release all the air from the Titan tank when I fired the hornet.

Had I used a different pump, I would have needed to add a second check valve in between the pump and the Titan tank.

Also, if you want a Titan/AT2K setup were the 2K can get multiple shots (using a stock titan pump), you can attach the 2K tank to the tubing that goes to the gauge, like I did with my Double Titan. (It's a 3k instead of a 2k, but same idea)

It turned out nicely. A breech on your titan for uber-ranges and 2 shot 60-70 feet semi auto.

It's okay, I guess.

Does that PVC on the back of the handle hurt your hand? Or does that serve another purpose?

Now that I have taken a closer look, this might be a good idea to grow on. I might choose a different gun to incorporate all the guns that you did, but overall, that thing is Effeminate. If you don't give somebody a welt from the Titan, you can shoot some darts at them while you reload

Cool. Have you noticed any effect on missile range? It's not much of a restriction, since CPVC is about the same ID as the chamber outlet was in the first place, and that's a lot of dead air space filled. So my guess is that missile launch speed is actually increased a little. I suppose that might hurt what little accuracy there was, but it should at least increase range a little.

Nope I don't notice an increase in range. To be honest, I'm still kind of hesitant to fully pump it (my lack of experience with air guns makes me nervous, even if I probably have no reason to be), so I really don't know the full range potential of this gun yet.

Look at my last post, Lynx B) You are mentioned.

It's actually far enough back that it doesn't hurt my hand at all. It's there to protect the tubing going from the pump to the Titan tank.

It would be awesome if this project inspired similar projects.

And it is a wonderful thing to have a backup shot (or many shots) when you need to reload.

Because the original hornet trigger sucks dick.

The SMDTG trigger feels better, works better, and is much more reliable. It's there for the same reason it's there in a Marvelous Salvo.
