What barrel common barrel materials have you used before and how they worked, I will list mine:

*Chapstick

*Shake straw from the silver diner

*Tube from Homade rocket

I used Copper on my Splitfire, very good and had a nice fit on my darts. Stefans and stock.

Crayolas, some very brittle pipe that held CPVC perfectly, but was thinner than a coupler, so good for jamming into tight places.

I don't know about that. I live in England but it must be the same in America but you can get them pretty much customized to what you like so you can get nice tighter fit or a looser fit (I'm getting quoted)

I have used a section of titanium alloy golfclub handle. It works perfectly for a rscb barrel since it is slightly tapered.

I have used
-PVC
-CPVC
-PETG
-1/2 copper

I oust to only use CPVC because I only used stock darts but now that I make stefans I got an 800 foot roll of FBR and it fits PETG perfectly. But really I thought there was a certain type of barrel material was the best but it all depends on what your darts fit.

I've tried crayolas and rose-art barrels, and rose-art barrels are much better. They don't have the stupid little pegs inside that are almost impossible to take out without use of a dremel(i don't have a dremel). Also, they are about the same price, and they are the same length.

The pump for a super soaker. It made a great barrel for stock darts. I now use CPVC, or anything else that fits.

The barrel for the AT3K on my Double Titan is a chapstick tube inside of 1/2"PVC

I also used to use markers like crazy, because they're perfect for stock darts.

I also once made a barrel out of Lego that fired megas fairly well.

The barrel of my singled SM1500 was made out of the tube that holds the pump of a super soaker for quite some time. It was a perfect fit for stock darts.

I use crayola barrels almost exclusively, but it's because I don't have easy access to PETG or CPVC. I also use only stock darts for now because my friends don't want to get into the stefans thing (they fear homemade darts).

For high powered air blasters I put a piece of 1/2" PVC over the crayola barrel, and it works really well most of the time.

Also, for those who have a hard time clearing out the inside of a crayola, just use a 1/2" drill bit. Wrap a rag around the non-business end then stick the cutting end in the barrel and twist away.

Hey, c'mon, it's nice to share what barrel types work and what ones don't. That said, I use Brass and CPVC exclusively.

I took an old broken triple strike's barrel, lined it with paper to tighten the barrel on micros, and hotglued and sanded it all into place. Works great!
