I use Google SketchUp for my designs. So far I have almost finished a BR that I call the Hurricane CS-20!
I also have plans to design Nerf "Ranger" mines, The Nerf "Assasinator CS-10" rifle, and The Nerf "Dominator AS-3" RPG-style rocket launcher.

EDIT: Wait, you're just making designs and not actually building them??? What's the point of that??? We're looking for actual, practical weapons for use in wars or cool, painted guns...not designs on paper, you can't shoot darts outta paper...you should get out there and actually make them. The Haven search function will guide you to any help you need on this matter.

There is no way in Hell Hasbro is going to produce his designs, no matter how good they are. If hes lucky they may pu a tiny detail of his designs into future blasters, but that is such a small chance.

It is intentional. There are no place for long range campers in Nerf. Its not conductive to the way that most people would rather have others play.

Also, you could send them to me if at all possible. I like seeing designs and I can post them up.

And we really do need pics. If I said I made a nerf mortar launcher that shot a cardboard 40-dart airburst shell and rained foamy death on people 30 yards away, and had no pictures, would you believe me? Would you even care? Probably not.

The Hurricane has 20 darts and uses a system much like that Iron Man gun that came out a while ago. It also has 3 modes, single shot, quadruple shot, and full auto.

Are theses designs just pictures of the outside? Or did you actully find a way to make it quadruple shot and full auto. Meaning did you actully make internals or just a cool looking gun with nothing planned for the inside?

If you can't or do not plan to make them then most of us consider this thread to be a waste of time. This is a forum for sharing build logs of things people have done. If you want to share your 3D artwork there are plenty of other places to post your renders or designs.

You can make a bad thread worse by having it mostly full of people saying it's a crap thread. If you want a topic to die, then ignore it. It doesn't need four replies from people agreeing with the first person to point out the flaws in the origin topic.
