The LS2 fired plastic rounds. I would call them darts, but they were unique to the LightStorm series of blasters. Nerf darts won't work in them as the rounds it used were about 50% smaller in diameter. They were basically a hard plastic straw about 2" in length with a semi-hard orange plastic tip. The plastic was photoelectric (glow-in-the-dark) and was charged by a flash strobe inside the gun that activated when the trigger was pulled, just like the FireFly. Ranges were pitiful, at about 15'-20' and very inconsistent. The blaster jammed often, usually with the darts protruding slightly out of the front of the blaster. There was no barrel. It was a pump gun with the pump handle on top, as you can see. The bladder held a good amount of air though, allowing at least two full clips to be fired. Some people have integrated the internals into other guns, but I have no clue as to whether the results were good or bad.
Icespartan, it is nothing like the Powerclip. The PC was a self-contained clip that was basically 10 barrels in a moving chamber. The clip on the LS2 is similar to the LS and Recon.
EDIT: It is not made by Larami at all. From what I could tell before I sold them all, it did not have an air restrictor, at least not like what we see in Nerf blasters.
