Pretty good integration dude, now integrate the red DTB with something red... like the Titan

I didn't even see this post by b00m13 while reading OfAllTheNerf's longshot Dtg integration thread until after I did this mod. I don't know if it's been done before, but if not, hoorah.

So lying around I had a screwed up red Dtg, and a boring old Pvc Titan. The Dtg had an old rotten rubber band inside it, and I had to open up the gun to get it out. After I opened it up, I looked at the empty spaces inside of it, and than at my Titan (Ahh Hah!). I decided to integrate the Dtg into the Titan where the hornet is supposed to go, since I destroyed all the shit that lets you fire the hornet anyway. I cut off the front handle of the Dtg completely, and the back handle until I hit the trigger. Than, it was just a matter of some adhesive.

The Dtg has standard mods, Ar removal, slight spring replacement. The Titan has a 1/2 inch Pvc coupler inside the original orange barrel, obviously allowing any 1/2 inch Pvc attachment to be used. Since the coupler is all the way down the orange barrel, right next to the air tank, the big black missle can still be fired. Just for the sphincter of it, I wrote "The Man" on the side with hotglue, than coloured it in with good ol' sharpie. On top of the gun is a gay little piece of Pvc my brother wanted to glue on as a scope, but it works worse than the original "scope" that the Titan had stock. Now, pictures with my new camera, I think they came out pretty well.

Here is the gun without the Pvc barrel-

The ranges for the Titan with stock micro darts (I dont really use stefans) are about 100-120 ft.

The Dtg with stock micro darts gets about 40-45 ft.

This gun is officially my new primary, I hoped you like it.

The chances of one person taking a bomb on a plane are one in a million. The chances of two people taking a bomb on a plane are one in a trillion. So if you're scared of a terrorist attack, bring a bomb on a plane.

Er.. Why? The Dtg is totally pointing downwards and looks impossible to aim, let alone hold or cock. Do you flip the gun over to switch guns or what?

Nice mod. Do you have the titan pump plugged? Just a random question but why did you keep the stock barrel outside of the pvc?

No, The Dtg is level, I'm not sure why it looks that way. It is also fairly comfortable and easy to aim.

Thenerfloki- Thank you, and yes the pump is plugged. But I'm not actually sure what you meant by keeping the barrel outside of the pvc. The pvc barrel is inside the coupler, the coupler is inside the original barrel.

I'm not going to lie, I detest the use of hot glue for the integration of two guns, as well as using it to make symbols or words. Sooner or later that DTB is cracking off, best tear this thing apart again, clean it up, and redo attaching it with goop or epoxy.

Also, the spot you choose is nice, but I still think that AssassinNF's titan/dtb is a much better approach.

Whoops... I skipped the coupler part (I skip a lot parts of posts/write ups). I assumed you just gooped it to the end of the part of the titan where the grille was and showed the picture before the barrel and after the barrel. And was wondering why the barrel was on. Shame the pump is plugged, it isn't legal in wars now (unless you are hosting the wars!).

Yeah soothsayer, the Dtb isn't just on with hotglue. I used krazy glue, and goop under it. The hotglue was just to add some reinforcement.

Ah, well then. Add some plastic to cover up the uglier parts of the integration, paint job, and you've got yourself a mighty fine....gun to mess around with I guess since titans are banned. Could make some 2 shot barrels, that would let this be a good primary.

I like my way better, too. Thanks for the mention, Soothsayer.

I honestly think having the DTG all the way down there would be awkward as fuck. The Hornet is bad enough attached down there. I can't aim it to save my life. I always aim too high up because I can't tell where the damn hornet's pointing, and I either blast 6 darts into someone's face accidentally, or shoot way over their head.

I have a question. What is the bar infront of the DTG trigger for? Did you just use it to help keep the guns together?

Yes, it's just for support, and yes it is ugly as hell.

Very nice Soothsayer, it looks very clean from the view. I also agree with you too. Hanging off is causing a lot of stress on the glue etc. This means that on the top it is laying on something so the glue has no pressure at all. To find out a better way of gluing things, you just put the integrating part on where you like and see how long it lasts there without glue. Then you do the other spot. The spot that lasts longer is normally a lot better. In this case, Liam you would probably want to break off the DTB and put it where Soothsayer put his. This was the first thing I noticed. Another thing I noticed was that someone [I am sorry I should have just quoted you] said that it will be banned and um, yeah. You should quad it just because, a double barrel is not normally very affective and as I learned at DCNO quaded barrels are very affective. If you want to know why I say that go to the reaction thread and look for my post and read it. Anyway it was good just a couple little adjustments.

I'm sure soothsayer appreciates the credit, but it was actually done by AssasinNf. Also, my gun is still completely intact, the glue is holding up fine, no cracking or shit like that (and it's been built and used for weeks now). About quad barrels, I have many shotty barrels and other attachments made for this thing. About the pump being plugged, I unplugged it. So even if I use it singled with stock darts, it should be okay. Lastly, this topic is pretty old, let it die once again.

Can you post a write-up or an internal photo, I might do this, but I don't want to accidentally break one of the guns.

92% of teens have moved on to rap.
If you are part of the 8% who still listen to "real music",
copy and paste this into your signature

If the gun is innaccurate, make a longer barrel.
If the bullet doesn't come out of the barrel, get a new gun.
