Once my older brother shot bits of paper towels wrapped in tape to pester my little brother with my spy gear signal launcher. Then he taped a bunch of straws together, shotgunned them, and fired and his girlfriend, then shoved it into the aforementioned little brothers hands.

I find it quite amusing taking a high powered gun at night, firing shots straight up in the air and watching bats try to swoop in and snatch the darts.

I usually climb out on my roof and shoot at squirrels with my x-bow and I have hit quite a few. When my friend is over he uses my 3k blow gun or my autogrip with blowdarts in about 1" of nerf foam though he always gets the tree.

I use either my Spy Gear Launcher or my BBBB to kill the spiders in the house.

Seriously all of you peopel shooting animals and such, you make laws against nerfing and all other projectile oriented hobbies. I mean really its this kind of behavior that makes laws like this: No use of any device capable of firing projectiles is allowed in any parks or open space, this includes slingshots, BB guns, model rockets or any other device.

Yet one time I still managed to accidentally hit a deer with my singled titan, it was like 70' feet away and the wind carried the shot. It didnt seem to be harmed in any way it just looked up and then hopped away.

Sorry, there are laws because you could accidentally misfire and hit a small child in the eye. The laws aren't there to protect rodents.

I shoot near my dog to tell her what she is doing is bad. It is an effective training method (especially when your dog is not expecting it).

Not really. I live in Colorado we have deer, bears, mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, elk and tons of other wildlife quite literally in my backyard. Deer come into my bakyard all the time (it drives my dog crazy). And I can hear coyotes at night howling. It is there for the wildlife I assure you. One time a friend and me were walking around with toy guns (when we were like 10) A ranger came out to us to see if they shot anything. When he checked them out to make sure they didnt he just said never shoot the wildlife. They also have rules about picnics and such.

Well those animals are more respected than the average squirrel...

But really, shooting stuff at fucking mountain lions isn't a good idea at all, mostly for the one who isn't a fucking mountain lion!

Yeah that would get he attention of police. I can imagine the dispatch "Hey we got this wacko, he came into the park and crapped in a bunch of toy guns.". Lol.

The fact that this stupid thread has gone to 3 pages and is still moving right along should tell us some things about human nature and the function of the internet, none of them good. ~Rork

rork, I think the fact that it has gotten so many responses of a childish nature more fits your overall argument. I started this with the intent of a reasonably intelligent, if amusing, discussion. I should have known better though.

Yes; if it were anything amusing, sardonic, or even just well-constructed BS--fine. But post after post of "I shoot my dog with a longshot, hehehe"? Piss on that. I think this one has reached its expiration date. ~Rork

I took a crossfire into a pool once, and started shooting balls of water at my brother. It was pretty amusing. It only worked if the plunger was half full of water, and when it worked, it would shoot either a ball or a stream of water about 10-20'.

Okay, thanks for the amusing posts about shooting pets and wildlife, but I think rork is right, this thread needs to die.

I killed a rat with my +bow. It was a close range shot on full power with a tagger filled with hot glue on the end.

I unleased the fury of my singled titan upon a two inch long hovering insect. What I understand to be its legs and something resembling a stinger flew in random directions while the rest of the bug was thrown to the ground, mutilated.
