Okay, so I was just outside patrolling my yard at 1:15 in the morning with my SNAP-Twin to see what was causing a mysterious banging noise and I got to thinking just how silly I actually looked, then it came to my mind to ask what you guys might have used you blasters for on some random occasion.

My Nerf blasters are primarily employed as a nontoxic means of pest control these days. Hanging black widow spiders and other nasties that I'd rather not approach can be readily dispatched with a steady aim and a modified Airtech 2000.

Would you be so kind as to elaborate on the nature of said bio-stefans?

I'd like to know as well...perhaps a greener way to nerf? As to practical applications, I've only scared away raccoons and squirrels...I guess if someone used the unmentionable thumbtack darts, they could...well, I'll leave that up to some of the noobs.

OMC, the point of this topic was to get funny answers. Yours is fairly amusing to me.

I used my big blast to blow out tiki-torches after a picnic. Way easier than blowing them out.

I being a super lazy person take a stock maverick and shoot my tv`s av cable input because its loose and sometimes the yellow (video) wont show up until I move it so I just stay seated and shoot at it with a stock maverick and stock dart.

I use my longshot to stimulate my incredibly lazy dog. He lies on his ass all day. I shoot him with it, he will run around the house like he is possesed for at least 10 minutes, so that saves me the trouble of having to walk him.

Retiate and I once used a titan to scare/maim birds. We were getting rid of the darts that had been destroyed throughout the course of our wars and decided to have a little fun while doing it. The darts had no accuracy at all, but for some reason the birds only sat and stared at us as these darts whizzed around them. It took a few minutes before they finally got spooked and flew away.

That same day, we decided to try air-blasting various insects. We found a spider and aimed the titan at it point blank, but before we pulled the trigger, he sensed his eminent flight and started to climb back up his web. We thought that was funny because we discovered some spiders have a "titan sense".

I also used a PVC blowdart with stock taggers to knock really blow dart needles out of the ceiling. I couldn't reach them, so I got my other blowgun and shot them out.

Mostly just taking potshots at squirrels in the backyard. (Is it me or are there a LOT more squirrels than usual in MN this year?)

And while on the topic, I once surprised one by coming around the side of a car, then got a headshot. The thing did a backflip and got the hell out of there.

I actually set aside a yellow tech six for the sole purpose of killing bugs. My friend whom used to live in Africa claims he put thumbtacks in his stock ls and got paid $30 occasionally to kill rats that lived in peoples basements. Keep in mind that all he had was a stock ls and simple death darts. Other than that just annoying my sister(she put no shooting sighs on her door until the Jonas brother poster came. Nicks my favorite to shoot.)

No it's not you. I see those damn things everywhere I look when I'm outside. I need to shoot them more.

I shoot my Roto Rocket and Big Blast at deer so that they don't eat my dad's plants in my woods. One time Zudikas actually hit one in the leg with my roto rocket.

Jim, a Snap wouldn't scare anyone at all, especially not a person who is committing a crime like break-in, now my Roto Rocket on the other hand, would definitely. You just wait and see at MNNO.

They must have migrated north. We used to have a huge problem with squirrels (where we live anyway) in MO, but there has been a definite drop in population here. There are still a few here to bother us though.

On topic, I did once use my ls on a raccoon that got stuck in our garage one day. That thing took off like a rocket. No raccoon incidents ever occurred after this.

It may not frighten a burgler, but I finished it a few days ago and I wanted to at least have something with me when I was outside, so I grabbed it.

On the subject of squirrels though, there's a crapload of them in my neighborhood. I've been them for target practice with my SNAP.

I use my bbb and singled titan to shoot at pesky squirrels and chipmunks in my mother's garden. But, my friend and i had a target competition using 2 singled titans and the unmentionable death darts but made with full length nails and a sheet of 3/4" plywood with a dart board painted on it about 80' away, needless to say it was a good time we had to use pliers to get teh darts out of the plywood.

When I'm bored, I go squirrel hunting with my nite-finder. I have yet to hit a single squirrel. Maybe I should switch to .22.

For me it depends on the year. I'll spend an entire summer just hanging out at my house and taking potshots at squirrels and the next summer there won't be a single damn squirrel. Every year it rotates.

Being a pest control tech, I also derive great pleasure in killing things with my nerf guns. It's great when the wife comes screaming, "kill the spider, kill the spider". It's much more fun with a gun than with pesticides.
