This is another gun I got in my eBay auction, so I decided to modify it.

Stock

First, you open it up. I would recommend unscrewing the cocking handle, but keeping the back half on, the post is holding a piece together which you will need.

Some close ups on the internals

Now, you'll need to take out the barrels. Only one screw is needed to be removed for this, then they pull right out.
Posted Image

Now saw off the barrels, only leaving the air tanks (I THINK they are the air tanks, but it's not too clear)
Posted Image

Now take your desired length of PETG. I used about 4" per barrel, I would recommend longer if anything. Also, get some PVC that fits around the PETG snugly for housing it. I used this to help hold it down, and protect part of the PETG from damage.
Posted Image

Wrap a layer or two of electrical tape around the PETG, then hot glue it in the PVC.

Next, you hot glue the barrels to the air tanks. I followed this up with epoxy, which I suggest doing.
Posted Image

Now, you'll need to make room for your new barrels. So cut out the plastic supporter in the shell. Remember to do this to both sides. The screw hole also has to come out.
Posted Image

Insert the new barrels in the shell, put the one screw in to hold it all down.
Posted Image

Put the shell back on, and you're done!

Ranges-
44'
49'
53'
55'
55'

I liked this modification, and would recommend it to anyone's Blast Fire. It's not the most powerful, but you can shotgun fire, or semi auto 5 rounds, which is cool and very useful in my opinion.

Questions or comments?

On the other hand, the guy who posted before me used the word 'fuck' a lot so he probably knows what he's talking about.

Nice job, a very simple and easy mod. Personally, I suck a replacing barrels. I may try this if I ever get a Blastfire.

Echnalaid: Haha, replacing barrels is the easiest modification I know how to do in Nerf! As you can see in the pictures, my barrels aren't straight, but as long as you Goop it enough so it's air tight, you can get used to accuracy problems.

Blue: Thank you, but I don't know that gun by name.

Pretty sure that PETG would just fit in the stock barrels, without having to mutilate the case?

Unless that PETG is different to what I had...

Good job posting the mod as a writeup.

Nicely done. You should seriously consider doing a "flip breech" (there's a better name fot it, but I can't think of it right now). Basically do a coupler mod and then make a five barrelled flip breach (total of ten barrels) so that when you're done firing off the first five rounds, you can just flip it around and fire again (you'll have to repump of course). It makes reload time about three times faster.

I never noticed how small it was until now. Thats cool. I would expect ranges to be a bit better. Are you sure you didn't saw the barrels off too roughly? I know that this can cause leaks in hornets, and this seems like it works the same way, so Im not sure.

The Inventor Guy: I did try it, but the barrels were too large. I would never go through all that hassle if that would have worked, haha!

imaseoulman: When I use a coupler, I like twisting the barrel in, if there are five all connected, I imagine it would be difficult to pull them all out at once on one "grabbing area". And, This wouldn't be my primary, and I really have a thing against having removable barrels on secondaries.

123caviler: Well thank you. eBay is awesome! I got a great deal on all of these guns, and really only wanted a few of them.

mystefansdontflystraight: I thought this gun was much larger too, I think it's the pictures of the other write-ups on NerfHaven.
