The people in my area have stopped playing Nerf, so I thought it might be time to sell the arsenal. The main piece being the crossbow. I was just wondering what prices people where getting for crossbows so I can figure out if it would be worth it or not.

If you bought your crossbow for less than eleventy billion dollars, it is now worth selling your crossbow. They're selling in the $150-$210 range.

Woah, woah... by the people in your area you don't mean the entire Nightshift Clan do you? If so, that would be bad, that would completely eliminate the only place which is currently close enough that my parents would let me go to a Nerf war at.

I really don't want to quit but we haven't had a war for at least 2 months and no one has used the forums since summer started, I don't know what happened but its weird. I don't think i will ever quit Nerf, but i would mind the extra money from a crossbow. I still have many other guns, and i would play in away games if anyone in my was going, but no one else is into it. And yes blasphemy i do mean clan nightshift.

Ok, I see. Shit. I was wondering what happened to BFNY III that was supposed to occur in September. And to believe I was going to make you guys drive up here for the first ever CT war in the summer of 2009. But now the odds of getting a successful quantity of people to have a Nerf war here without you guys is not looking so good. But screw it, it'll just be one more reason for me to go to APOC next year. But, all ranting aside, I hope this is only a temporary lapse, I looked forward to shooting you while you were on the same team as me at the next war.

That was you? i remember you now. I think it is a momentary lapse with most members being seniors and this is college season and what not. I thin we will continue to nerf but just not as much. Its a hiatus. I really just want the money from the crossbow for my bike.

If you want the money put it on ebay or start a auction here. You should AT LEAST get $100 for it as long as it's not beat up and crappy.

That's more of a starting bid. Even if it beat up and needs work, it'll still go for around $130 or so. But if I were you, I would hang on to it for another year, maybe two. The value is only going to go up, and with the rarity of them, I would'nt even sell it.

It's not the end of the world if your Buffalo group dissolves.

Take it from me. I used to have three,but I sold two of them and kept one NIB. When I decided I wanted one for use at the wars, I paid $25 more than I had gotten for the one I sold only two months before. Don't sell it. At the rate that they are increasing in value, it would be stupid of you to sell it now.

We're not in buffalo....
But anyways, its mostly because alot of people are busy right now. For christs sake, I cant even see my friends this weekend between college and football. I think in the spring, once AP's die down and people are into college, we can have a few games. Also, we can start going to most out of state games, as people are starting to get senior liscences.

There is no official group that I know of. I'm 20 minutes from Buffalo and the only people around here that nerf are my immediate friends.

He offered me an assload for my NIB, even though I told him it was not for sale. He is one of the people that are the reason why it's value is constantly increasing every couple of months.

Let him down easy. This is only the second time, that I know of, that he has been denied.
