Hello everyone. I have been a lurker for a while now. Now it's time for me to contribute. It's not complete yet but I thought I would go ahead and share what I have done so far. I only have the one pic right now. I want to make sure I have the pic posting down before I post more. Let me know what you think.

Your pictures aren't working. Copy the direct link from the site you're using. Click on the button with the little tree when you make a post and paste the link into the dialog box that pops up. That should make them work.

EDIT: ah, I see you've got it working. Nevermind.

Ok, so what you want to do next time is take the line from DIRECT LINK and put [/ img] (without that space after the /) around it. Very cool looking gun though, I would love to see a bigger/higher resolution copy if you upload it. And if you could list everything you've done it'd help us understand a little better.

I hope it isn't photoshopped, it was too awesome looking. And if the pic is shopped, I'm not going to flame you, instead, why don't you go out there and actually make that. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Good job either way.

It's not photoshopped actually. One of the first things I checked. No artifacts whatsoever on the image. I couldn't figure out what the hell that back is from though, so I had to pull out a firefly to check and yeah it is. Pretty sick looking. Incredibly clean.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Just for clarfication, it is real. Here are more pics (now that I've figured out how to post them)

Here is a 3/4 front showing the LED flashlite and the Laser along with the Recon Tatical lite.

Yep, this is/will be fully functional. I have already gotten the extra spring and o-ring for the plunger and I'm still trying to figure out how to get the air restrictor out without ruining things.

The 9V batt wil be attached to a voltage regulater circuit dividing the voltage into 3 3volt segments for the flash light, laser and somthing planned for later. I will post more detailed pics later. I have to take pics during the day because I cant get the lighting right at night (ml lights arent enough and my flash is too much).

AAA that stock is exactly what I'm working on. Being a procrastinator never pays off. I wanted to do that to emulate the halo rifle.

The stock is the hardest part of the whole thing. I will take it apart and post pics of what i have done so far. Its not complete yet but it will give you a good idea.

I have found that for the "hard" plastic parts, model glue (testors) works great. For the "softer" parts (the stock, front gun grip, ect.), Model Master Instant adhesive for plastic models works perfect. The joint ends up stronger than the plastic. It isn't instantious, you have to hold it for a few seconds but this gives you some "working" time.

The white areas you see throught the entire gun are peices of Evergreen plastic I have used to fill gaps and correct "mistakes" in cutting I created. Having good, clean even edges (just like plactic models) is the key.

That's really clean looking, nice work. Best external mod that I've seen since the front gun integration.

Yes...I just so happen to have an old firefly shell (blue and yellow vesion), and this would be the perfect use for it. Will you make a writeup? Pretty please with sugar on top?

I can really see your apparent model experience shine in your work. Most people outside of the NIC prefer nerf guns to LOOK good rather than hit 90 feet.

Keep us posted as to its progress. I especially dig the stock.

[b]Yep. The Fierfly portion contains the batt, voltage regulator circuit board, power switch and power on LED. Since the Firefly already had everything except the V.R. circuit, it was a "logicial choice (plus, I dig the way it looks).

I havent tested the ranges yet but I have seen where more experianced Nerfers have a barrel "extension" beyond what the main gun has.

For your first mod, I think you have done amazingly well. One of the cleanest integrations i have ever seen. No, It is proberly the cleanest. You have done great! Keep it up
