[Blue]

Step #1: Cut the peg at the place where it widens.



Step #2: Wrap E-tape around the peg until your barrel material of choice fits snugly

Step #3: Carefully remove the plastic part of the tail from the tubing and tape the barrel to something stable

Warning: putting this gun back together is very hard!



Step #4: Open up the gun and flare out the plunger head and add lubricant.



Internals. Putting it back together involved taping the catch spring in place so it couldn't pop out and taping the plunger rod in its grooves, otherwise it wont work. Close the gun up and get the tape out from the plunger rod very carefully by opening the front end of the gun minimally . Screw it back together and you're done.





I hold the nitefinder in my right hand and the scorpion in my left. Cocking the guns are a bit awkward because one's in front and the other is in back, but its not too bad

Ranges are flat shots outdoors:

40ft.

I used a very tight barrel material (the darts have to be twisted in) but its easy to load.

You beat me to it. I was going to buy this gone from my cousin but forgot to have some money when I went to my cabin with him. Anyways, nice job. You would get better ranges if you shortened the barrel if you plan on only using stock darts and would get better range with stefans. You could also try to remove the tubing somehow and hold the gun the other way without making it awkward to hold. Also it is annoying to have to side scroll to view the pictures and read the text.

You beat me to it. I was going to buy this gone from my cousin but forgot to have some money when I went to my cabin with him. Anyways, nice job. You would get better ranges if you shortened the barrel if you plan on only using stock darts and would get better range with stefans. You could also try to remove the tubing somehow and hold the gun the other way without making it awkward to hold. Also it is annoying to have to side scroll to view the pictures and read the text.

Imagine a nitefinder with the barrell on the back and the cocking handle on the font. Thats how removing the tubing and gluing the barrel directly on would be. Shortening the barrel would make no difference, I've tried it before and a 6 inch barrel is much easier to attach to a tactical rail. How big is your monitor? Mines 8.5 by 13 and it has plenty of room for the pictures.

Please tell me about your trigger reversal idea. The trigger is attached to the plunger tube, so it would really be quite a bit of work.

Holding the gun the right way, the trigger moves but nothing else. Holding it backwards, the trigger and the entire gun move, because you don't have that little nook to put your thumb pointer finger place on. Backwards the barrel ends up pointed downwards.

Having never held/owned/seen one of these, you just confused the shit out of me. Theres no way to take out all of the "tail" part and just put the barrel on the end of the plunger tube?

I like the more sensitive trigger idea but I don't understand what makes the trigger move it. The line from the trigger to the plunger tube is not making sense to me.

I think that that piece would be more effective if it was moved over to the right, making the trigger push force more direct against the catch.

Probably, but you would need a piece of square brass or something steady for that.
