Blackfox, you sold me this at2k, if this has happened before to it please state so.
Thanks in advance. I don't usually post help threads, but I have no freaking idea what to do.
FA_24's response to Ice's back pain thread:
I used to have that problem until I got circumcised. 15 pounds later I was able to stand up straight.

NerfOnFier: The at2k is a air powered gun, not a springer.
BustaDartInYourAss: I know where its leaking, its out the front. And covering the coupler with JB weld wouldn't help. At all.

I'm aware that the at2k is pump. I own two. I'm saying that the plunger tube may be looser toward the front of the plunger. E-tape or another o-ring may help your problem.Retiate: No, just on one pump, and then when I pull it back out to pump it again, the air leaks out the barrel. I'll check on the pump assembly real quick but when I looked at the valve from the front it looked ok.

Edit: Post pictures if you can, it may help us get better results.

First, using a Sharpie, make a straight line across the airtank. From the barrel to the trigger pin.
Then, cut it in half with a hacksaw, making it as straight as possible.
Clean off the plastic debris.
Plumbers goop/ epoxy putty the tank straight with the line made earlier, and let it sit for 2 days.
Then, dry pumping it, it should hold pressure if you glued it straight and evenly.
I did this to 2 2k's, and 1 titan airtank, all STILL work beautifully.
Edit:
Nerfonfirespeltwrong- Plunger is only with springs..... Bladders with controlled release guns, and airtanks with most airguns.

What the heck? I've never heard of it done down the middle.
Here's what I did:
-Make a mark parallel to the barrel on the tank as a reference
-Cut the tank in half perpendicular to the barrel using my pipe cutters.
-glued down the gasket
-re-aligned the tank using the mark and gooped it together again
Renegademilitia15, How long is your barrel again? You did a nested coupler replacement, right? I did notice that the at2k would leak out the front when any downward pressure was on the barrel. It shouldn't be that sensitive, but because of the angle of the coupler I had on there, the pin was under stress and would leak when moved.
My suggestion is to do this mod and maybe add a spring to the firing pin or something. Then dremmel away as much of the plastic under the coupler as humanly possible. I didn't try very hard and as a result, the barrel was at like a twenty degree angle.
Ok, hope that helps. If not, we'll work on it at my place sometime.

I've only performed surgery on one 2k, if I remember correctly and it wasn't that one. If there's a crack, it's not supposed to be there. After inspecting the internals carefully, I saw a thin line of a cut on the airtank covered in plumbers goop, so I think black fox already did the cut open the airtank thingy. And, after listening even more meticulously to the internals I realized that air is not even getting to the airtank, much less leaving the pump. I think a peice of debris or something must have got in the tube connecting the pump to the goo gauge, because there is a bend in the tube there and I think that is the problem.
Hmm, debris in the tubing shouldn't cause a leak. Are you sure the problem is with the tubing? Sounds more like the check valve or goo gauge to me.
You know, I already gave him that exact same link in my first post. Don't worry, reading is overrated. If you need to you can do part two of this. I do this with every 2k I get.

I know you're the guy that made the write up and all, but seriously, this is the third time the link was posted.
I would just like to advise everyone else who reads this in advance that the link you are about to post has already been posted.
What the heck? Here it is again.

When you release the pump, the air comes out the pump tube? If that's the case, then it sounds like your check valve is broken. I'd probably just replace the pump on it, you'll get better reload times if you replace with a bigger one too.
I've tried it. (Sorry, it's missing pictures because it's an older thread) It sounds simple, but it's not so easy. I'm starting to get off topic. Yes, replacing the pump with another nerf pump will fix the problem. But if it's non-nerf, it most likely will not have a check valve thus leaving you with the same problem.
I tried simply sticking a check valve on the end, but it still didn't work. Check valves seem to be the bane of nerfers and I'm working tirelessly at finding a solution short of ordering a new check valve off McMaster.com.
asldfjpwo; Now I'm pissed. Just get your pump shotgun and we can scrap the 2k.
EDIT: Oh yeah, if you can feel air coming out of the tube, a simple fix would probably be to smother it in plumbers goop. Please tell me you've tried that...

I was only kidding. Can we fix it? YES WE CAN!No, its coming the same place where the pump goes in. Oh well, guess Ill have some other guns to do then.
Seriously, find the leak and get a pic up. That would be most helpful. Then take it over to my house.
I'm starting to despise air guns.
Something tells me we're going to get flamed for letting this go on so long.
