Does anyone know of or have a triangle screw driver for opening this gun up?
I do not want to hear about melting pens and molding the screw hole with them because I tried it and it didn't work.

Tri-wing look like thisLook for a TriWing screwdriver on Froogle. They sell them to open up Nintendo products.
I picked up a 120-Piece bit set with 4 sizes of TriWing for $24, and it came with every bit I'll ever need to open up pretty much everything.

He needs this (triangle "power" bit)

Mcmaster part #s 5941A11, 5941A12, 5941A13, 5941A14
They're also called gamebits because they're used in several consoles.
But any really large screwdriver bit set that includes tamper-resist bits will include triangle power bits.

Triangle comes in 4 screw sizes: T18, T20, T23, T27
Tri-wing comes in 6 screw sizes: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
"gamebit" on the other hand is a widely generic term used for bits that could be more accurately found using the other names.

PS: Radio Shack and the home improvement stores had no triangle drivers. One guy suggested a specialty-computer store.

You can find them in most large screwdriver bit sets at hardware stores. Only industrial suppliers are likely to sell individual bits.
Guess I got screwed then

Everything BUT triangles. Oh well.

I believe baghead said that he took a useless phillips screwdriver and ground it into the triangle shape. Look up the electric ell mod in the directory. 1 or 2 comments down.
Yep...exactly what I did... I think I got the idea from Starbuck... cuz he did it when he needed to mod a comlink or something...
