I have to leave so I'll make this quick.
Eavh Year the BSA hold a very big fundraiser. This is done by selling popcorn to customers. My troop needs a lot of money to be able to do things this year. I have decided to see if any of you would like to donate to the BSA and my troop by purchasing some popcorn. The popcorn is very good. our customers have never had any negative comments about it.

If you want to help out the BSA and Troop 660, then you can order popcorn from orderpopcorn.com
When you get to the screen it will ask you for a code. tyoe in ten44md or you will not be able to buy. There is regular microwave popcorn, and there is popcorn in tins. You can purchase chocolate porducrs on and after September 29. If you don't like popcorn, you can buy it for a soldier over in Irag. The Boy Scouts could realy use some money to continue to make scouting an awesome program.

If you are going to buy popcorn, please order it before October 27th.

I'm open to flames, comments and questions. however I will not be on to answer any questions untill 3.

I highly reccomend the BSA's "Trail's End" popcorn. I sold this stuff for years. Both myself, and most of those I sold it to, agreed that it was some of the best popcorn you could buy.

Also, a good portion of the price of each unit sold goes to support the BSA at various levels - national, council and troop - and the BSA is a great program to support.

Good luck durka durka

Oh yeah. I worked for the local Council for four years and one of my favorite times was when the boxes and boxes (normally enough to fill two or three rooms) came in. Chocolate covered popcorn is delicious! The cheesey popcorn is really good too.

Just to let you know, there are a lot of other scouts here as seen in this thread:

http://nerfhaven.com...07&hl=boy scout

So, you may not get a huge response from the nerfing community. 1. Because so many people here are scouts. Or, 2. If somebody bought from you, they may feel obligated to buy from the other scouts. So, all I'm trying to say is, it wouldn't be completely fair to the other scouts here if you were getting all the sales. I'm not trying to diminish your idea (being a scout myself, I know how hard it is sometimes to make sales), but you may not get the response in sales you might get by instead using your time by selling out in front of a Walmart or something. Just my two-cents worth.

Hey I'm in scouts too. I tipicaly sound $3000 (yes thats three tousand dollars) worth of popcorn and theres theres a few kids that would sell around a thousand or so but I just switched troops because a few of my troop leaders were a bit on the crazy side. So since I tipically sell so much my new troop is finaly going to sell this year. I also work on summer camp staff, am working on my eagle project curently, and hold offices in my OA lodge (nischa chuppecat) and has also been to the national leadership semminar. Also how many of you guys going to the national jamboree in 2010? And are any of you going to noac next year my lodge is service lodge?

Hold a car wash. All the proceeds go to the BSA, directly to your troop. You don't have to deal with some company where people are making a profit off your fund raising, and you don't have to guilt anyone into buying a product they don't really want. Maybe somebody has to shell out a couple bucks for soap and an extra bucket or two, but at the end of the day you've got an extra four hundred dollars or so for a Sunday afternoon's worth of work. And none of the cash goes to those filthy bastards at National. If they need the money, they can change some of their policies and get organizations other than the Mormons to start donating again.
