This collectors edition Batman gun has a light in the bottom portion that turns on at half trigger press and shoots a Batman signal light beam out. It's removable so that you can change the filament. Badger had it listed as broken, but it really just needs new batteries and a bulb. When I bought it he said "it's a shame I could never see inside." This is because this monster is sealed shut with both glue and a dozen plus triangle head screws.

After a half hour of working out the screws with a flat head, here are the internals:
Posted Image
By the plunger rod is the 2 piece plunger head with a little white clip on lock thing.

You can see in this picture that the gun comes stock with two trigger springs. You can also see the trigger switch for the light.

In order to make the seal perfect, I used that second piece of the stock plunger head, but reversed it, in conjunction with a plunger head from a Manta Ray. I trimmed down the top half inch or so from the Manta head. I then wrapped it in e-tape until it was very tight.
Posted Image
There are no ARs in this blaster, and there is already a wire stopping darts from loading into the plunger tube. I cut off the front of the barrel right after the last support ring so that I could goop my 4" petg barrel in. This seems to be the ideal size of all of the lengths that I use.
The springs are a cut down first generation Firefly spring, and the stock spring nested inside to reduce rattling around. These have to be seriously cut down because there is not much room for the compressed springs.

So little room, in fact, that I cut back the catch just a bit, as seen here:

And here it is all closed up:

I replaced all of the screws with Phillips head screws naturally.

It vacuum loads (have you guys noticed that I love this feature? it makes ROF so insane) and shoots about 50 to 55 feet flat on average with my "good darts" (3/0 weights, forsaken's foam, made with my method in the smithing tips thread). These ranges are not exaggerated. This gun could be bungeed if you wanted. The plunger rod is pretty strong, and there is a gap at the front between the shell and barrel where they would clip nicely. It's very accurate. At 25 feet I can hit a 1" wide metal pole consistently.

This makes for a great loaner pistol, or just fun shooting around. I have some crazy cosmetics planned for this guy.

Certainly a neat little gun. An integration of many kinds would be so easy for that.

Definitely a nifty gun and modification.

Spare guns really. I bought a bunch of broken guns off of people both a while ago and recently (my fourth Vulcan which I was able to get working really well before I scrapped it for parts), and now I have a plethora of screws. I really like the old self tapping screws from blasters from around 1998 and back. Triple Strike and the Manta Ray in particular use these.

Oh yeah, the point of the whole big thing on the gun is the removable integration spot. I love it. Put a 2k there, then when you need it for gunslinger just pop it out. For a night or indoor war, or just for fun, throw in the light and some batteries. Unfortunately this blaster's integrations are out of budget for a while as I've literally obtained 15 new and expensive blasters within the last two weeks, including 2ks, a NIB Sm3k, and another Vulcan (mentioned above).

IF I may be nerdy and point out a part from the Dark Knight, what about that sticky bomb gun?
This is an awesome little loaner pistol. Nice cell phone too. How big would you say this is? About the size of the Recon w/o accessories? But this thing would looked wicked with a hammered black pj.

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

I paid somewhere around $5. It's big and bulky, but maybe a collector wants it.

Another another important note, I just finished another mod and all of the cosmetics for this beasty. I guess I'll just have to put them up now, instead of procrastinating.

Here ya go:
I made the light signal display the word "Split" instead of the Batman symbol. Therefore, the blaster shall be hencefoth known as "Split Light Signal Gun".
I had to pry open the light chamber, but once it gets going it's not too bad. It's just held closed by a few dabs of glue.
My camera ate the before picture, so here's a picture of it after.
Posted Image
You can see the little disk that the light shines through to display the image, then the lens flips it and enlarges it. For this reason you have to insert the disk with the image upside down.

So basically, cut the batman logo out of the disk, and get a piece of small plastic and print whatever you want on it (if that's how you want to do it - I didn't). Cut it slightly bigger than the disk, then trim it down. At this point, I painted the word "Split" on it in thick red paint. To get a fine enough point I just dipped the tip of a spare bic pen into the paint and basically wrote the word on.
Posted Image

After it dried I reinstalled it:

And here's the gun with the cosmetics.

If you didn't want to kut off where the flaslight was but you still didn't like the flashlight you could probubly fit a Secret Strike AS-1 in there.

You could easily fit a 2k tank in there, put the pump in the handle. I may do that later, but the "Split Signal Gun" is just too awesome to pass up for a round of Gunslinger

Yep. It's actually just a screw in the side. You can see it pretty easily in the fourth pic. And the handle just pops open. I'd either have to find and destroy another one of these collector's edition things to make it modular, or find a way to make it from scratch. Needless to say, I'll be going for the latter, but it will have to wait.

It's really just how all of the guns from then were made. The Eagle Eye actually has the same plunger tube size and everything, but one of the rings is shifted a bit.

On a funny note, looking at "Rags Article" (about levels) on NHQ (link via "Show off your crossbow first post), they first reply is "That really makes me want to get a cross bow. Too bad I dont have 50 bucks"

Poor kid is probably killing himself for not having had 50 bucks.

It came out nice. Can you post a pic of the "Split" signal shining on a wall or something?

Badger's secret collection. He gave me the matching Batman Ram Rod. Really funny looking thing. I'll figure out something to do with it I'm sure.

I bought a Batman Ramrod at a garage sale last Saturday... crayola'd, it is actually pretty good, with ranges around ~35 feet. I'm not sure if mine is the same as yours, though-- is yours purple?
