I'm all about how many features a product has when it comes to consumer products. I want the most out of anything. So what this topic is going to be about is showing what your best gadget can do. Show a picture of the gadget and list it's every feature. When I say gadget, I mean MP3 players, PMPs, PDA's, phones, whatever. Just no dildos please.

Ok let me introduced what lead me to make this thread:

My Samsung P2

Posted Image

-MP3 player
-Create many custom playlist on player, in depth custom EQ
-Picture viewer
-Can crop, zoom and display photos as a background
-Video
-Add a bookmark, change the EQ, change play speed, change video size (zoom)
-FM radio

-Datacasts
-Bluetooth
-Stereo headset
-File transfer
-Mobile Phone, you can connect with your phone and can make and recieve calls through the player via the mic on the player and the headphones
-Custom Main menu styles
-Change the icons and font
-Lock (password protected)
-Text reader (With multiple reading paper themes)

The P2 is an alternative to the ITouch. The only feature the ITouch has the P2 doesnt is the WiFi browser.
I love this thing.

No need to repost, but I have to agree with the awesomeness of the PSP. It can do pretty much anything, as long as you know how to get it to do such things. I have been out of that loop for a while, but even then it had the emulators, firmware emulation and pirate-able games.

My favorite gadget I have is probably my iPhone. :D You guys all know what an iPhone is unless you've been locked in a closet with nothing but food and a crapper. It rules and I will soon be upgrading to the iPhone 3G, my friend has the 3G and it beats the shit out of my old one!

Haha! ::points at Tornado13 and laughs:: The NSA can listen in on your phone calls. In all seriousness, though. I would never get an AT&T phone for the simple fact that they are in bed with the NSA (which is a useless entity). I personally hate Apple, but the iPhone is a neat device.

You do realize that this was pretty much all cell phone users, not just AT&T, right? We probably shouldn't get into that, though.

Archos 605 WiFi -

800x480 Touchscreen - this is honestly the best touch screen I've ever used
4gb of memory - May not seem like much, but it has an SD/micro SD slot, can interface with any USB storage device
WiFi ( 802.11g ) - I don't use it, but it's pretty much a full featured Internet, as far as I know.
DVR - the device can act as a DVR
Built in speaker - better than the iPhone speakers I've heard
Kickstand for when you're watching videos
Supports more media formats than any (?) other device.

I don't want this to start any argument or anything, but AT&T is the worst company about allowing the NSA to listen in. My friend got into a fight on the phone, and the next day, AT&T called and asked him if he wanted to press charges against the other guy...that isn't right. I am not basing my knowledge on that occurence, though. I did a 10 page research paper on "questioning technology" for my English 102 class, and much of it was centered around cell phones and the NSA.

So as to not have a useless post: I have a Motorola Q9c:
Phone
GPS
Internet
Ability to run emulators
Music
Videos
Bluetooth
Etc...I really don't feel like listing anymore haha

I dont see why companies who make PMP's dont included a camera in there products. So far the only two player's I've seen to have a camera is the Archos and some Olympics.

Am I the only person left in the world that wants their phone to just be a phone?
I have a crappy Nokia 1100, and the calculator, text messaging, and LED flashlight are the only extra features it has aside from being a phone.

I'm perfectly fine with having a device that does one thing, and does it well. You end up with a much more affordable device with greater battery life.

I also have the cruddy Nokia 1100. And its only features are a working phone , texting , and a calculator. But it does have a pretty good call reception, mic, and speaker so that's a plus.

You do have a point there Slug,
but for arguement's sake, I'm going to say the other side.

Although simple maybe better, it becomes boring quick. And you know, I would probably wouldnt get bored with my device if I had a life. Meaning that because I dont work and I have alot of time on my hands, I would see why someone who works would go with just the essencials.

Either way, I love having a device in my pocket that can do many things. The thing's only a centimeter thick and it has a dictionary, naming just one of the features.

I'm betting that you either a) don't have the whole story :D misinterpreted something that was said and/or c) are lying. The other guy probably wanted to press charges or some shit and AT&T got wind of it that way. I'm not saying that they don't monitor it, but I seriously doubt that they analyzed it that fast.

You have the Archos 605? NICE. I'm saving for one now.

Probably, but 3G support is not available on the 605. Pricing is varied depending on which model you want.

I also have a PSP, and it can do all these things, except the hacked features, and I am quite pleased. I am now going to sell my iPod nano, because my PSP does everything the iPod does. I don't see why people would rather go out, spend three or four hundred dollars on an iPod Touch, (I think that's how much they are) when you can buy a PSP for about 150 dollars, spend about 80-100 dollars on the software to make it hold music and everthing, and a memory stick. You save about 100 dollars depending on how much you bought the iPod for, and it does everything the iPod does. Plus, you can buy kick-ass games, and movies that you don't have to waste memory space for.

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

A) you could be right, I only know what he told me B) there was nothing to misinterpret C) What would I have to gain from lying about it? He didn't go into any detail about the story other than what I already stated. That doesn't really matter, though, in the overall picture. If you do the research, you will find that AT&T is the biggest cellphone cohort of the NSA. If you want to continue to question everything I have to say, feel free to pm me. I am not here to argue. I jokingly pointed out a simple truth, and it should have never gone past that point.

I do have to side with you on this one. The old Nokia 3310 I have is 8 years old now, but still works without a hint of errors or any other problems. Personally it's the hardest substance I know, right after the Original Gameboy. It fell down numerous of stairs, flew 8 meters down to the ground, and it still works as on day one.
