I saw this at a Camdenton, Lake Ozark Walmart (in Missouri):
http://www.spygear.n...py-toys/spyfire

The box is a bit more descriptive than the page, so I'll try to say what I remember. It is meant to be used as a trap. The trigger detaches from the gun and is used as a remote to fire it from a distance. 25 feet? Maybe. Thought you'd like to know.

I'm actually more interested in the little alarm-ball thing they have. I may have to add that to my gear, along with the wireless motion tracker.

Looks like it fires the kind of shitty plastic "bullets" you'd see on action figures and dollar store guns.

It more than likely won't make nearly as good of a nerf conversion as the signal launcher, if it has any potential in the first place.

This is true. Not owning one, I do not know what internals are like, and what moddability potential it has to put pvc barrels in for nerf darts.

It looks like those "darts" that have notches in them to catch on a thing inside of it while pushing down a spring. So in other words to me it looks like it doesn't have a plunger tube.

My point exactly. This just doesn't look capable of shooting darts.

Although this does look kind of cool, I agree with assassinNF. But it would be pretty cool if it could be used to hold nerf darts. If what you say is true about it being a "trap," then I would really like to see it become nerf dart compatible.

You're just crazy.
And this does'nt look like it has any potential. It is battery powered, and it has the little peg "bullet" things. Just something to shoot siblings with I suppose.

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

It may have integration potential. It is difficult to hotwire or build your own motion sensor. Stick a nightfinder or at2k into it, with the gun's trigger as the action that fires it. It apparently has a motorized trigger for the remote firing, so it it could be made to release a tank or a plunger, you won't have to care about the fact that it fires no darts stock.

This is the kind of optimism I'd like to see. If I was a decent modder I would do it, but as it is I've never done an integration before, and my parents probably wouldn't be too keen to allow me to buy 2 more toy guns (the spy gun + nf). Also, that could be sort of difficult integrating the remote trigger, but I'm sure someone could do it, and the hard part is already done for you (remote wiring). If you look at Splitlip's vulcan thread he shows a motion sensor and a way to integrate it into the vulcan, and this can be adapted for use. But wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having a remote trigger?

I bet that grenade would really stun the room with its horrible, deadly plastic shapnel!!! That looks like something you could make.

It's more about the alarm than the plastic shrapnel. The first time you roll that around a corner, the sudden noise is gonna draw their attention for a moment. Granted, this mostly applies to indoor arenas, but I do see it as having potential.
