I just picked up one of these and was searching the forums for info or mods and found nothing. Has anyone tried modding it?? I did find that it's pretty much the same as the old nerf bow.

I saw it on clearance one day and considered getting it, but they also had the Clip Tek or whatever on clearance, so I got that instead

There may not be any mods on the gun. But modding it would be pretty basic. All you would have to do is replace the barrel, remove any air restrictors, increase the seal, and maybe add a better spring. You could write a mod on it yourself. And if you wanted to make the gun a more reliable primary, all you would really need to do is add a catch and trigger systems to the gun.

I have one of these. It's basically a bow 'n' arrow in a different case pull and release type. It's crap, I would think it would be modded like the Arrow Strike (I guess.)

When you say "it's crap," what exactly do you mean? Is it crap stock? Are there serious quality control issues? Or something else?

Well it's a pull and release gun. It has a great fun factor but that's all it has. It's range is quite poor and it's a pull and release gun. It shoots arrows (obviously) but you COULD make it shoot darts. Then again it will have unreliable range.

It seems like it'd be pretty easy to soup up with some bungee cords or rubber bands. It wouldn't fix the accuracy problem, but the range would surely improve.

this gun officially sucks, the plunger tube is too small and the pull back stroke is too short. All these things can be fixed but I have other projects to work on so this ones getting put aside. On the bright side the spring is awsome and perfect for the Vulcan, it's a little bit bigger but alot stiffer.
