Just one really quick question I have. I wrecked my tank on my 2k (to make a long story short) so I salvaged the pump/ tubing on the pump to use in a homemade tank. I need to know if the one-way valve was on the tank or the pump, so I know if I have to get one for the new tank. Can you help me?

There is a check valve (I believe what you are calling the one-way valve) in the pump.
