I've searched this forum for information on plunger head mods for the Crossbow to no avail. Seems that most every post deals with the plunger rod more than that head itself. I've noticed that mine has a considerable amount of play on the back end and sort of tightens up toward the inside. Has anyone found a better way to get a better seal on the plunger head (not a big fan of the etape and fbr idea)? I noticed that unlike the other plunger type barrels, the head is not screwed onto the rod. It's just clipped on there through the hole. Is there a rubber washer or something out there that would fit this better? I was thinking of adhesive felt pads that may fit. Something that can conform to the tapered I.D. of the plunger barrel while pushing as much air out the front as possible? Anyone have any thoughts on this before I try it?

You didn't try very hard. This came up on the first search page for "crossbow".

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

There was no sarcasm there. He stated a fact. You can't just search one term and call it quits. This is NOT Google.

Who said I made one attempt at searching? Searching something as basic as the word "Crossbow", I think I would run into just too many threads. I attempted to narrow down my search. Excuse me for thinking that it would be a less frequently used word on this forum. If you could have gathered from my initial post, it was definately my concern to not jump into asking you all for information, without first having performed a search. I think I made a reasonable attempt. If searching down to the basic word and sifting though what I incorrectly assumed would be 1000 posts, was what was expected, then I apologize.

I have reached the point where I hardly bother with the search function at all. Instead, I google what I'm looking for, and throw in "nerfhaven" at the end. Works like a charm. ~Rork
