Alrighty, we've essentially settled on a date for this year's So Cal summer bookend, Fall CAFF 2008. For those of you who are in So Cal and aren't privy to one of our many other forms of communication, here you go.

Directly SOUTH of Cullen Elementary, on the same street.

It's a block directly east...no big gas expenditures here.

TIME:
10:00 AM

Please be prompt...I know I live a block and a half away so it's easy for me to say, but I typically get there half an hour early. And that's no joke, actually...I've just wound up forgetting something and having to run by home again in the past...*chuckle* Anywho, we want to get this ball rolling as quickly as possible; this is due to be the most Effeminate CAFF ever, if we do things right.

You can figure on us wrapping things up anywhere between 5 and 6:30, depending on how much fun we're having, and how much energy we have left. Those of you regulars know...we've been having WAY too much extended-length fun these days.

EXTRA INFO:
Wear eye protection. All the cool kids are doing it. The lame ones who aren't doing it aren't nerfing either. Funny how that works, eh?

It's going to be september, but that's still a So Cal september...sunscreen might still be wise. We still don't know how things are going to look at that point.

If it wasn't a fuckin 5 hour drive I'd be there so I guess Ill have to pass...I know many of the east coast and canadian nerfers have driven much farther, but CA gas prices are the highest in the country.

Well San Jose is about an hour away from me so I guess around 7 hours? I'd have to sell crack for the next few weeks to pay for all that gas...

I'll be there. I'd rather it was the 20th, so I'd have some time to mod some new guns... but I'll be there with all the equipment for our new game type. I can also Count in Tony and one of our new guys... And I hope I can also count in Pilz or even Natee... since I know they'll be around.

I can most likely make it, anywho, which school is Cullen? Is that the one that we went to for the second location for 'geddon or was it Sellers? Also, if CruxZader can't make it, most likely I can't (although he doesn't affect me with my ride, my dad just wants me and him [and maybe that other kid that was with us during 'geddon] to stay together), so hopefully he can make it.

I need to get back on the ball now that I'm back from SD...

Anywho, it's been brought to my attention that the 20th would be better for a substantial number of people who are planning on attending.

Consider the date changed.

Those of you who are considering coming from up north, consider this:
If the one of you who is furthest north were to fill his tank, and then drop by one or more people's houses along the way and pick them up with gas money in pocket, the cost for ALL of you would be significantly less to travel the full drive.

That being said, keep in mind that you'd have to be up at the asscrack of dawn for the war to be worth your time, and then you'd naturally have to drive long into the night, unless you would prefer to crash at someone's house.

At any rate, ponder the subject, and get back to me. Our wars have gotten more Effeminate by the day in the last year. If you can make it, it'll be worth it.

Cullen was Geddon's second location. Sellers was the one where we got booted a few months back, because that guy was gh3y. We love both places, but cullen's more of a staple.

EDIT:
On a side note, just from the potential attendance here in the thread alone, we're looking at 16 people. That's not even TOUCHING on the flood of attendees my clan generates as well, plus some new guys in G-Town none of you know about. As I said...this may be the most Effeminatetastic CAFF to date.

i got 2 friends so Put us down as a maybe, if there's anyone coming in from the south, that would be really helpful. both my parents hate taking me up to G-town for some reason... I'll let you know if anything comes up.

Oh, we'll be bringing a mini van up full of people. So expect anywhere from 3-5 more people from us. Maybe even more if we get more than one car going up.

ooh and if someone has access to half inch cpvc and some couplers could someone get some for me, and I'll buy them from you at CAFF? I've been meaning to try to get some, but no where around me has any. Thanks in advance.

I can't believe this...we're gonna pass up this year's 'Geddon turnout hands down, and we don't even have any out-of-towners beyond So Cal. Cullen and Sellers may not see such an Effeminate turnout again for a long time.

We vary...sometimes it's a no, sometimes it's within reason. We try to avoid people using all melee, etc. until the end of the day when we're too damned tired to care. Provided that it's not the most prominent part of your arsenal from round to round, I won't have a problem with it. Bring your stuff, and we'll work it out on a case-by-case deal the morning of.
