Thats the gun compared to a Nitefinder. Stock ranges were about 7 ft.

Step #1: Open the gun up and snap off the original barrel

Posted Image

Step #2: Put electrical tape over the original barrel until your barrel of choice fits snugly.

Posted Image

Step #3: Sand down the area and cut down the cover that covers the tubing inside until it fits.

Step #4: I put lots of bands on and it destroyed the catch mechanism. I removed the broken part and replaced it with some popsicle stick and tacky glue.

Step #5: Put it back together and put screws where the blue tape is as this gun has way too many

Ranges: High forties with one giant rubber band. Its very hard to cock as there is very little to grab onto of the plunger handle.

Fun. Ranges?

I recommend that you cover that hole in the plunger tube, right by the base of the barrel.. It's pretty obvious in the third picture.

Also, I think your barrel fit is too tight. I can visibly see a crack in the petg. If nothing else, cover the stem of the Petg in e-tape.

I like the fix though. How well is it holding up?

I would suggest putting a key ring on the plunger rod so you can grip the rod. Good mod! I'm impressed with the difference in ranges.

It really wouldn't make a a difference as there is tubing inside that fake barrel that has a little plastic piece at the end where I put the PETG

Well, the air restricter was huge and only half of the dart could fit in the barrel, and it has a giant rubber band. Without the band it gets around 15-20 feet.

Why is this called a blow-dart gun?

Pretty cool, though.

Edit: Oh, Bow dart gun, duh.

Nice work. The one thing thats kind of bugging me is the plunger rod. I would suggest doing what Lt. Stefan said by using a key ring or if you could maybe even replace it with a Nite finder rod. Just looking at how small that rod is makes my fingers hurt. Other than that nice job.
