Alright so yesterday I was bored and I had some left over model magic from the chubbs project. So after making a few missiles for my cannon I decided to use the leftover model magic to try making a full dart out of model magic. I don't have pictures yet but they work well out of an ERTL pasg. They bounce around quite a bit and are more accurate than model magic shotgun ammo. I also think these will make a great alternative to stefans for those whose parents wont let them use stefans.

My god, you actually built it. To that, all I can say is, "bravo".

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

When I read the title I thought there would be detailed instructions on how to make it. Anyways can you give us more details on how to make them.

I'll make a more detailed post later it's just rolling it to the exact width of the barrel and round it at the tip.

Does your model magic shrink when it dries? I've tried making pointed long-range darts for my converted watergun but my model magic shrinks slightly when it settles and thus is a little smaller than the barrel. It might be because mine is like three years old, but I just wanted to see if this was a problem elsewhere.

Haha, alright, I guess that's what happens when you use three-year old model magic.

I don't know model magic is really light, do you have to use a weight on the front?
