The supplies
17/32's and 9/16's brass
Epoxy
Silicone lube
A spare O-ring (I had one from a dead NF)
A spring seen here.(Optional)

The Tools
A Drill or some thing to make hole for the 9/16's brass
A saw or pipecutter of some sort to cut the brass



The Nitefinder

Ok first off do your basic AR removal


Then cut off the aimer.


Then add that oring and lube it.


Ok now to the actual mod drill a hole large enough to put the 2" (It would have worked better if I used 2 1/2") of 9/16's brass in and epoxy it in there.


Now your done just use 4" of 17/32 brass and it should slide in and out to work as a coupler.

Ranges are about 65 with the spring replacement.
The dart holders are pretty good for holding extra barrels.

Thanks I've had the idea for months but I got it done about a week ago. Oh and just so if anybody asks ranges are 60-65'.
I'll sell em for 20+shipping if I get enough people intrested.

A word of advice, don't use 9/16th's as barrel holders (for extra barrels). I lost a barrel at apoc like that, then badger found it : D.

Wouldn't the barrel fly out when you shoot it? Clever idea but do you really need a breech on a Nitefinder? I seem to be able to push my dart in all the way.

Since it's a single shot gun, it helps a lot to have like, three to five brass barrels loaded in your pocket, so you can just stuff one on the coupler, and have another shot quicker than you would take a dart, and reload it. But I think it's just easier to make a speedloader.

As Lt. Stefen said, wouldn't the barrel fly out because the brass on brass on somewhat lose?

Nested brass is very tight. I doubt it would fall off at all. Especially if it was held in over a long distance.

No the barrel would not fly out and I cut the aimer off so I could use it.
