i used the search bar but no results,i bought a pack of 30 Taggers and i wanted to know how to make CDDTs.if i posted this in the wrong place or something im sorry im new here though,but anyway please give me a link or tell me

Step 1: Rip off the velcro head

Step:2: Put a little hot glue in

Step 3: Put your weight in

Step 4: Make a dome of hot glue on top of the weight.

You're Done!

First of all, they are Converted Dart Tag Stefans. Too many ds.
Second, you just cut off the rubber part and glue on a weight. That is all there is to it.

But seriously, is there any advantage to using Cddts over stefans? Besides of course if u new to nerf if you don't know how to make them NOOB.

They're a good way to make stefans if you don't have access to the materials to make genuine ones.

They are also a good way to improve all the stock darts you get with your Nerf guns if you never plan on using them as stock darts. (Some of us do, for various reasons. Where I generally Nerf - at my church as a sponsor for the Youth Group there, we have to worry about breaking things and insurance issues, so stock darts are all we allow.) If you will never use your stock darts, you can convert them to CDTS's and increase your ammunition store. Since all new Nerf guns come with darts, these are actually cheaper than standard Stefans - you already have the foam!

Also, they fit in stock guns AND they have really good ranges and accuracy if you use copper BBs because they fit right into the whole and are centered perfectly. But once you get good at making stefans, it really doesn't matter that much.

Also, Converted Taggers are alot more spendy then regular stefans.

Personally, I refer to them as CTD's (Converted Tagger Darts), but that's not all that important. If you want to know if there's an advantage, try the following:

CAREFULLY remove the rubber tip trying to keep as much of the original foam in tact as possible. Using an X-acto knife (or other sharp blade) cut the foam exactly in half. Take one of these halves and with a low-temp hot glue gun (high temp works, but low temp is easier) plug one end with hot glue, blow on it once, push in a 1/4" steel slingshot ammo (cheap at wal-mart) and then create a hot glue dome over that. Do the same to the other half.

Get a high powered air blaster (like a Blast Bazooka) and load one of these darts into an 18" CPVC barrel. Compare the range to any other stefan and you'll see why I prefer air guns with 1/2 length CTD's in CPVC.

Another thing that I don't think was mentioned is that they fit well in all guns, including the LS and Recon. They get better ranges than stock darts, and they're very easy to make consistently.
