Actualy I used a Disk Shot gun but the internals are almost the same as a nite finder.
I used the old thread by Carrtoon on how to make it as a reference and just changed a few things

inside gutted

the front of the tube
Posted Image

tube in place
Posted Image

the pull is put in upside down for the catch to work
Posted Image

I put a nail threw the (original)catch to hook the groove when you pull back
Posted Image

the spring is held in place with wire threw the tube on both sides of the pull. I also cut the pull ring off and sanded it down to fit in the original cocking mechanism
Posted Image

the tube glued in place
Posted Image

cut the back of the gun and dremel out the original cocking piece to fit the nite finder arm.
Take the original cocking piece and drill a hole through the furthest back screw hole
so it goes through both sides. Put a hole in the sanded down pull. I used wire to hold it.

And thats it. picture of the gun cocked

This contest may have some flaws, as people can simply be a deuschbag over the internet. By Lying.

A war-like setting/invitational would be better...

I was very pleasantly surprised when I came into this topic.

I've always wanted to make a NiteMav, but due to the fact that I always have problems with the rotation mechanism and turret, they always end up in pieces on the nearest spot of concrete.

I get all giddy when I see VACC browsing a stupid topic. I just know someone is going to get banned.

Very clean, very cool.

And, just for the sake of tradition: Ranges?

Excellent! I haven't done a NiteMav yet, mostly because I've disliked the change over to the handle sticking out. This takes care of that... I guess it's time to stock up on nitefinders from goodwill, eh?

Very clean, dude.

One question; The Maverick slide doesn't slam into the shell when you fire, does it? That's the only potential problem I see with this. I really like it though, seems simpler than the original nite-mav.

Wow. This is cool. The only suggestion I would have, is maybe glueing the plunger tube in there with something other than hot glue. Just for durability. I would use something like Amazing goop, (otherwise known as plumber's goop) Epoxy putty, or another form of epoxy, +hot glue. And that paintjob: Dead sexy dude.

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

Awesome mod,It might have finally made my Maveric usefull.
As for the reply,It's against morals to post angled ranges due to lack of accuracy and efficiency of the gun.

this gun was pretty much a trial run to see if I could get it to work. It shoots about the same as stock with restrictors removed, its a stock disk shot spring and it doesnt fully compress. Next time I will use something stronger than hot glue, put a stronger spring and wrap the plunger. Plus I need to add some padding to keep the slide from slamming against the back of the gun. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Very nice work. Thanks for putting some life back into the Mav. It'd be such a good little design, if only it had more power and now it does!
Now I just gotta figure out how to fix the trigger catch. Bookshelf fell and busted mine to pieces.
