Hey guys!! I've modded my longshot by taking the AirRestrictors out but I'm not completely satisfied with it. It dosen't get good range. I'm going to put a nightfinder spring in it when I get my Nightfinder back from my friend. I'm thinking of doing a barrel replacement so I'm wondering what's the easiest material to work with, and makes the gun get good range.

Well, if you are going to do a full on barrel replacement, (that means making a new breach) then brass is the way to go. Why don't you look in the Longshot Directory, and see what mod you might want to do. It is shownhere. And look at Forsaken_Angel24's Longshot. It's got every mod possible, really.

I agree entirely with Bomberman. Brass is the way to go and The Longshot directory would be your best bet.

Though i must warn you, brass is a pain to work with. I wouldn't attempt it unless you are a experienced and confident modder.

I would recomend angels brass breach it adds alot of power (90 ft. with a stefan). And just so you know my Ls broke when I put a nf spring in. Good luck!

I heard that PETG is the best way to go. But TheNERFArmageddon says that Brass is hard to work with. I have never done a barrel replacement before so I want to go with something easy to work with. Any Ideas?

If you want to use the clips, use brass.

If you don't want to use the clips, use anything else.

Actually a coupler'd single'd longshot is quite nice. I highly reccomend it. Much simpler thant the other mods, and with practice you can achieve a high rate of fire but with extreme accuracy. Brass is accurate but still more expensive. Remember nerf is supposed to be fun so it's all up to you to decide how you go with your $30 toy.

Wait so you HAVE to use brass to keep the clips? And also what does the barrel replacement accually do? Such as increasing the range, power, accuraccy?

A barrel replacement does all of that. It increases the range/power of the shot, and will increase the accuracy, especially on the Longshot.
